In The Mood For Thai

This restaurant was a surprising find. We were going to another restaurant (a Korean restaurant) which has closed down. So there were, walking down the a part of Parramatta that was further from the food district when we saw "In The Mood For Thai".

The restaurant look inviting enough. A part of the restaurant was selling Vietnamese Banh Mi Thit (Vietnamese Pork Rolls) which we found funny but there were people eating in the restaurant part so we went it.

The food arrived quickly which was great because we were quite hungry by then. The lady who served us was friendly with a lovely smile and the atmosphere was nice and quiet.
We left the restaurant feeling happy and full.

The Peppercorn Thai Basil Stir Fry is a must-try, boasting a perfect blend of bold flavors and aromatic spices. The dish showcases the chef's mastery, with each bite offering a delightful balance. The ambiance is inviting, and the service is great!

My recent visit to "In The Mood For Thai" was an absolute delight! Being someone who avoids pork, I truly appreciated their considerate approach – a separate mini kitchen that ensures the halal integrity of the restaurant.
The explosion of flavours I experienced was simply amazing. The vegetable and prawn rice dish was a true masterpiece – a medley of fresh, crunchy vegetables and succulent prawns that left me craving more after every bite. And let's talk about the garlic and soy lamb cutlets – a revelation! Each mouthwatering bite was a burst of exquisite taste, making it impossible to leave even a trace behind.
The ambience and service added to the charm. The staff's knowledge and attentive care made me feel valued and truly enhanced the overall experience.

Ordered a Yellow curry with boiled rice and I came out satisfied with the blend and flavor of the food offered in a real time service. Location of the restaurant is great, very approachable from the station as well as the river side. Staff is friendly which is a plus. Ambience of the premises is impressive and provides a cozy dine-in experience. Lastly, the portion size is considerable in conjunction with the high meal costs.

Worth trying their curries. I had booked a party order for 10+ people. They did the packaging well and the food was warm & fresh. Everyone liked it.

Best Thai noodles when it comes to flavour and value in Sydney.

Chicken pad thai - I use this place as the benchmark because its that damn good. Some may find this a little sweeter than the average pad thai.
Pad see ew - excellent flavours. Saltier and more saucy than some other places.

Extremely generous portions. Well priced, especially on tuesdays for noodles.

Been a regular for the last 3 years and will continue doing so.

A pleasant surprise, first time eating at this restaurant, and I was amazed with the quality of the food and the friendly service from the staff.

You feel welcome, and cozy right away, the food was absolutely delicious and of very high quality.

Pricing is amazing, the portion sizes provided were fantastic, great value for money.

I definitely will be back with my family and friends.

We were SO blown away by the friendly staff, delicious food, and beautiful atmosphere. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone! Anyone leaving a negative review is worth ignoring, because there is nothing the staff wouldn’t do to satisfy their customers. 100/10 will come again and recommend to everyone, everywhere👍🏼

Great service! Lovely staff, lovely setting, very generous portions, great choice on the menu!

Walked in off the street, warm greeting and we were then looked after just so well.
You would be surprised how many get the basics wrong!
I knew the moment I was served the spring rolls and rice that all the food would be fabulous...and it was😁

As usual.the food was superb. We had 3 entrees fish cakes, salt and pepper squid and chicken sate skewers. I had the Massaman Beef curry and my partner had a chicken and rice dish. The flavours just pop. The service is always good and the price very reasonable for the large amount of food you get. Love it👍

Ordered green curry for lunch today. It was delicious and very generous in quantity (comes with rice). The staff was really polite and clearly explained the ingredients as I preferred only vegetarian food. Nice ambience too!!

This is my favourite Thai food I’ve ever had!!! Anne and Hannah are just so lovely and friendly. Fully recommend 100% we travel 1 hour to experience!
