From the moment we walked into the bar and were greeted by the hostess we were instantly relaxed.
Cocktails were amazing, then personally escorted through to restaurant where we experienced not only delicious food , great atmosphere, but friendly service and hosts/owners that made the experience unforgettable.
Can't wait to dine there again.

WOW! From the moment we walked in up until we had finished, everything from the food to the service was amazing!

After being part of an evening gone wrong on valentines night with Oribu, it was so thoughtful and sincere of the founding director, Louis to reach out to us to apologise and also explain the mishaps of the night. He was so generous to offer a complimentary chefs tasting menu with Oribu.

When we arrived, Louis was there to greet us and explained everything that happened, which we found absolutely sincere since many business owners don't take this initiative. He and the team were very attentive and we were grateful for their service, it was also fun to share some banter with him aswell.

The food was amazing and filling, from taste to presentation, could not fault anything, can definitely see why it is a top rated in Parramatta.

It was hard to pick and choose favourites because everything was so amazing and delicious. The chosen dishes in the chefs tasting menu were of perfect size and portion.

The Oysters, kingfish and Sashimi were so tasty and fresh, we just wanted to have more.

The Yuzu Gucamole with lotus chips and popcorn prawns were so addictive with the perfect crunch and spice.

For the main, we ordered the toothfish which was so flakey and went so well with the sweet miso.

We also had gotten sides of the fried eggplant & charred corn which were also nice to eat on their own and also paired well with the toothfish and even after having so many courses, we could still manage fit in dessert without it being so heavy because it is quite nice, light and refreshing, we couldnt tell which one we loved more between the basil tart and yuzu sorbet.

Not only was Louis kind enough to let us have a redo of valentines day with a complementary meal but also didn't let us pay for our drinks, this has got to be the best valentines experience we have ever had!

Amazing service, freshest seafood. Best Japanese food in Paramatta. The food you dream of the day after and look for a reason to return. Couples, corporate function, and anyone who loves memorable food and special experiences. Really enjoyed the Yuzu Guacamole with fried Lotus Chips and the various steamed dumplings. Should have taken a photo of the dumplings but my colleague inhaled them. All the dishes look amazing and beautifully presented, smell devine and taste delicious. Can cater for Gluten Free and vegetarian. This a truly a foodie experience and look forward to visiting again in the future

Asking Google to add a few more stars because i cannot justify giving 5 stars only. Expectation far exceeded when dining there for a birthday celebration. Staff were attentative and super friendly. The quality of food was unbelievable and I cannot believe it took me this long to try Oribu.

Love this new vibe! I happened to find it on google as i was desperate to have Japanese cuisine very last minute and i didnt regret it!

Service is 10/10 - love how helpful and friendly our server was, she has exceptional suggestions on what to eat and such a smile on her face through the entire process. Very impressed.
FOOD is absolutely amazing, sashimi platter very beautifully presented and fresh. Flavours of every other dish I had was delectable! Personally, I needed a bit more flavour or oomph in the Maki rolls however the presentations was an exquisite artwork! Very instagramable.

Overall the experience was great and would recommend Oribu for date night, family dinners and other functions especially with western areas, restaurants like this is very scarce!

It was a family dinner for 3. Everything we ordered here was exquisite, apart from the grilled scallops. First of all, they were off the shells and tough. It was served as a main, but the portion was terrbly tiny. It was a shame because the mushroon that was served with it was incredible. I feel they could've served a nice sourdourgh breads with olive oil to increase the portion a bit. Service was good, and all the server ladies were wonderfully courteous. I will definitely come back for the Omakase at a later stage.

Had a great night celebrating my birthday at Oribu with my girlfriends. The Omakase Platter was very impressive. Everything was so fresh and well presented. Great dining experience for a group dinner with heaps of delicious dishes that can be shared. Louis and the team spoilt us with a few surprises to make the night even more special on my bday. Highly recommend it.

ORIBU was fantastic! Delicious Japanese food, a very skilled chef and team, and excellent service from Casey she’s very welcoming & knowledgeable of their menu, considering my pregnancy. The atmosphere and interior were impressive. Celebrating my cousin's birthday with a dedication on her dessert and birthday song made it even more delightful. Highly recommended! 🍱🥢

Superb food, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Recommend getting the chef’s tasting menu. Otherwise if choosing a la carte then make sure you try the popcorn prawns, Boomer Bay oysters and kingfish carpaccio

This place by far hands down is the best Japanese you will find. I’ve been to many of the high end Japanese restaurants in the city and nothing compares to Oribu.

Oribu is hands down the best Japanese restaurant I have ever been to and trust me I have been to many! I was beyond amazed by the quality, taste and attention to detail in every single dish. It was pure art on a plate matched with explosions of flavour👌 I definitely recommend coming here if you haven’t already, I can’t wait to come back!! An absolute 10/10 in every way!

Oribu is a hidden gem ! The Japanese food was delicious, the drinks menu is impressive! The service was amazing ! The music was a little too loud and repetitive when we arrived couldn’t hear ourselves , but it changed later on the night. We recommend this lovely restaurant!

Last minute find and booking while in Parramatta and it did not disappoint - started with a cocktail in the Heritage Bar before heading into the restaurant for what I can only say was a surprising, delicious and thoroughly enjoyable eating experience. Kudos to the chef and team. Gorgeous staff and hosts make this the very next place you must try in Parramatta.
