Best gym in the shire - I have spent 12 years of my life training and to put simply always struggled to find a good gym to lift at. The atmosphere keeps you focused, everyone is there to train and progress/get results. If you want to waste your time having a social gathering and paying stupid amounts of money for a membership, then go to one of the 'larger' commercial gyms.

Extremely friendly staff and members, great range of fitness equipment for all types of exercise from boxing to weight lifting and everything in between. Staff are very approachable and have an array of knowledge between all the trainers. They also have a beautiful laser clinic with qualified laser technician.

Fitness republic was the first gym that made me want to go back. The classes available are run by the most dedicated crew and the classes allow you to do it at what level is right for you. I love fitness republic and love the vibe at this gym.

I've only been a member here for a couple of months but can already recommend fitness republic to anyone. Easy access, More affordable than other gyms and, most importantly, a friendly vibe. There is a focus on body building but it's not agressive or a fashion show.

The perfect gym for those just beginning and for those with experience. There is a large variety of equipment to train with and the staff will provide a sense of welcomeness and inclusion.

I signed up to Fitness Republic after an incident of being viciously hassled by a group of monstrous thugs. I wanted to put on some muscle that would make my enemies tremble at the size and thickness that was my shadow. After only one week, I could feel growth and striations that would match Zeus himself. One day after an intense workout that made my Masseter almost double in size, I heard a knock at my door. I opened the door to see that my foes had returned. A ferocious growl bellowed from one of them, "good evening sir, do you have a moment to talk about our lord and saviour Jesus Christ". Having felt the superior muscle development that I had recently experienced, I flexed every muscle in my body and inhaled as much air as the atmosphere could provide. I shouted "never you scoundrels" while continuing to flex at their intimidating white short sleeved shirts. Unfortunately, during my super saiyan decibel attack, I forgot to inhale and after a period of light headedness and oxygen deprivation, I collapsed plunging towards my enemies. I missed them and collided with my doorbell, sounding my superior war cry, and losing consciousness during my mighty feat. I awoke several minutes later alone, and a broken doorbell playing on a continous loop. With my nemesis vanquished and the tune to 'Close to You' by the Carpenters playing, I knew I was victorious. I owe my mighty conquest to my tenure at Fitness Republic. Friendly staff, 10/10 would recommend.
