The Husk Cafe

100% WILL BE BACK. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL carrot cake!! Sweet, moist and full of nuts. The atmosphere in here is so chill and cozy, it was a rainy day when I went in and the lighting really set this cozy atmosphere. The lady serving was so kind and joyful. The coffee was lovely and flavourful, And so many beautiful treats to choose. Love love love! You'll see us again to try those other treats! ( photo sorry I ate some haha )

I like this place. It has a good atmosphere and not too crowded  as well. Nice interior with beautiful paintings on the walls (for sale)
The coffee and pastries that they had were so delicious.
The drinks and foods were all tasty and cappuccinos were wonderful too! And very well priced.
Vera, the owner,  is always so friendly and pleasant to talk with.

The Husk cafe is quite the definition of 5 Star service, from the food, to the atmosphere, the staff to the pricing, it's astonishing.

Walking in you'll immediately notice a change in atmosphere from the busy sidewalk, as you're greeted with smiles, a pristine condition cafe and relaxing 40'6-60's music.

The first thing I noticed was the interactions, almost every person who walked in was greeted by name and obviously a regular, and I can understand why. To start off the staff display the textbook example of customer service, they're extremely welcoming and seem truly happy with their work. As I write this review more customers walk in and the server basically knew their regular, which the customers were very happy with.

The menu itself is quite large considering there is only a single cook on duty, and the food is absolutely amazing. The first thing you'll notice is the specials board, with just about everything under $10 or just over. It was initially surprising to see a cafe with such cheap prices still going, but it's regular customers kept it going.

I ordered a hot chocolate, steak sandwich with chips, and a cherry slice at the end. Everything was absolutely amazing. It's clear that everything is homemade, the produce is fresh, and it's all clicked to perfection.

The atmosphere is beautiful, a dark blue wall on one side contrasting with light blue on the other, scattered works of art and backed up with nice background music - it creates the vibrancy every cafe should aspire too.

Overall I'd highly recommend The Husk Cafe, and I look forward to becoming a regular.

I love this cafe, delicious coffee, tasty food, good service. Also there are local artists paintings on the walls, you can buy or admire it. The atmosphere is unique, gramophone plays music, paintings all around, remind me Paris. Thank you for lovely afternoon, be back again for sure.

Enjoyed a couple of hours catching up with family, very relaxing especially with the gramophone music. The coffe was excellent, as was the food. Friendly and accommodating service.

Went for the first time with a friend and absolutely wonderful. Really friendly and attentive staff. Food is delicious and worth the price. I recommend the burger they definitely do not go cheap with the ingredients, it was very fresh and perfectly seasoned. Looking forward to going more often!

I come in a few times a week for my usual bacon and egg roll and it is one of the best! Hospitality is amazing. The lady who serves me has memorised my order before I even get to tell her!

Great staff and great food

Nice new cafe that has opened up in Miranda where another one used to be. The cappuccino and eggs benedict were excellent! I especially liked the homemade hollandaise sauce and the sautéed spinich which had a delicious garlic taste to it.

My fiancé and I come here every day, sometimes more than once, to get a yummy coffee from Vera the owner.

Her beans are delicious and smooth, she makes a fab coffee, and the cafe has such a "home-y" feel to it. Menu aside, you ask for something to eat, whatever that may be, it will be done within her power. Today I ordered an egg and haloumi breaky roll and I am in tastebud heaven.

If you find yourself in Miranda on a weekday and in need of a coffee, don't settle for mediocre! Walk the extra minute from Westfield and pop in to see Vera at the Husk Cafe ♡

If you're lucky, you'll catch her partner helping out. Ask him for a joke! They're honestly terrible dad jokes, but you'll giggle at how bad they are! :)
