I liked this place, we spent long time there and waiters were polite. We ordered 2 pizzas, they were both good but I think “La mafia speciale” tested better then my “Jimmy Conway” calzone. Maybe because scamorza has a strong taste, but still was good.

Living in italy for 8yrs I always look for authentic italian food in sydney, La mafia cucina restaurant at top ryde cook real authentic speghetti bolognese! Buonissimo! 😋I bought the $24 sphegetti bolognese (veal & pork) and the speghetti was cooked perfectly aldente, not to raw and not too soggy, the serving was plentiful and they give you alot of sauce too which is what I always look for. I walked out of the restaurant happy and full! 😁😁😁 I highly recommend this place dispite the 3.8 star review it has on google maps. I strongly suggest to try it out for yourself! Maybe you'll have a grwat experience like i did!

This used to be Bondi Pizza at Top Ryde, which closed during Covid.
This new restaurant is a great family restaurant with great menu of Italian and pizza, good wine list and thr waiters are all in costume! Recommended a+

We had a beautiful evening at La Mafia Cucina. Robin was a fantastic host, the food was absolutely gorgeous, very tasty, fresh and hot, everyone had a beautiful meal!
We were enjoying our evening so much that Robin treated us to a free of charge dessert of Sticky Toffee Puffing between the four of us and it was devoured in seconds. I would thoroughly recommend an evening here! The pizzas were to die for!

Just went to La Mafia Cucina on the 21/3/23 and had the best experience as well as delicious food !! We ordered 8 different pizzas and enjoyed all of them, particularly Don Prosciutto, Big Paulie and La mafia speciale - they provided great portions and such high quality of food. Not to mention the service was amazing and the cocktails were particularly were classy and tasted splendid !!!

I’m very amazed by the experience. I spent my night expecting to just walk into another Italian restaurant and as soon as I walked in this was a different experience. I admired the setup including the posters of iconic mafia films/shows such as casino, goodfellas, sopranos, scarface. The food was absolutely delicious, the pizza was cooked so well and the flavours were pretty amazing for just a cheese pizza, the spaghetti also was exactly what I’d expect a Bolognese to be. Most of all what we got was something very few restaurants do now which was to be welcomed and rested very well by the business owner himself which I believe makes a huge difference to a restaurant experience

Had an amazing evening here with a group of 29. Food was plentiful and delicious. The staff did everything to make our night enjoyable. Bethany was amazing as our waitress and Robyn was a brilliant host. The $45 set menu was perfect and very reasonable for the variety and quantity of food.

Great place we had my husband's 60th birthday In the Hideout Room with family and friends lots of food great value nothing was too much for them to cater for. I'm Italian and the food met my expectations. Alcohol was reasonable priced. The staff did everything to make the celebration enjoyable and memorable for us and our guests. I highly recommend this restaurant for events and night out as it is one of the best Italian restaurant in the local area of Ryde.

Absolutely great food… the gnocchi were soft puffed clouds with a delightful Gorgonzola sauce.. my partner had pasta with lamb ragu which was so tasty…. Good service that helped with pairing a wine.. Manuel was automatic with great service. I will definitely be back for more.

I was served by the amazing Aryan. He was so patient with our picky orders and made us feel comoletely welcome. I definetly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice meal and there's no doubt you're in luck when Aryans on shift.

This place has great atmosphere, food and service. We ordered the Pennette Siciliana, Spaghetti Marinara and Risotto with Prawns. All the dishes were tasty, reasonably priced and the portions were very generous. No microwave food here, all authentic Italian cuisine! The customer service was great and we were looked after by Manuel who was charming and quick on his feet. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely eat here again.

Been here on 2 separate occasions, both of which involved the veal, and both times were nothing short of great. Cocktails delicious, crab entree tasted great, veal always hits the spot - to each their own I guess, but this is my go-to place in the Ryde area when I want to treat myself. Keen to come back soon.

We had pizza and pasta. Both dishes absolutely delicious. It could not have been better and we could not fault - so yummy!! Will definitely return.

Really great food. Myself and 3 friends enjoyed 5 courses and 4 desserts which were to die for! The pizzas were really top notch and the dough itself was really quite incredible. Main courses were generous in size and the atmosphere was quite bustling in a good way. If you like a great sit down meal or just want to swing by for a cheeky takeaway pizza, I would give this place a try. Ps : the Ndjua pizza is heavenly :)

Great place, excellent food and service. My friends and I dined here and had some fabulous pasta dishes, I’ve had many spaghetti marinaras in my time and this was by far the best. Tasty meat balls, calamari fritti, lovely bottle of wine and great service from our waiter Manuel. We’ll be back!

This is continually our 'go to' restaurant and always a favourite with friends who dine with us. Staff excellent, food excellent a great meal and night out.

We had a small function at home which was catered by La Mafia Cucina. The food was delicious and fantastic quality. Amazing service from the owner who was great at communicating and very friendly. We have eaten in the restaurant and had takeaway many times and we have always been happy, especially with the lamb ragu, gnocchi boscaiola and pizza. Thank you once again!

Great Italian style Pizza. Pizza dough is light and crusty, cooked to perfection. Friendly staff. Beautiful setup.
