Sotto on Ryde

We came here for Mother’s day brunch and we had a lovely time! The restaurant was super busy (as it would be on mother’s day) but the food was amazing and worth the wait! Everyone really enjoyed it

Needed a quiet and place to enjoy family time together after a funeral. Sotto on Ryde was a great choice. Not an easy place to find driving past, but Google takes you to the side street near the school where outside of school hours, parking is easy…a 120m walk through the Park to Sotton on Ryde. Lovely, well kept grounds. The servings are HUGE, coffee mugs BIG and the prices are like from 10 years ago?? Great choice for quiet time with friends, food and coffee. Service was cheery and fast.

Really generous serving! Quite tasty and offers a big variety. Loooove that it's right next to the playground and the scootering loops. It's the best for a family brunch/lunch. You can book too, which is helpful for a big group.

Situated in a lovely park, we were greeted with a warm smile and were shown to a table outside in the sunshine. We were looked after straight away and our order came out quickly. My friend had the ham and cheese croissant and a coffee and I ordered the ricotta pancakes with a weak tea. Tea was perfect and I thought the pancakes were delicious. They were light, not overly sweet and served with a delicious selection of fresh fruit. Comes with icecream and maple syrup too!! Fantastic value!

Excellent place to take kids as there is a park right next to the cafe. Recommend you get there early to beat the lunch rush though as it gets BUSY! The zuchinni fritters are AWESOME!

Great cafe in a perfect spot for families with a good playground and scooter park nearby. Coffee was nice and food serving much larger than expected. A varied amount of different meals without being overwhelming and vego/gluten free options too.

Our office held its Christmas lunch here. Some of us brought our kids along. The food was delicious and everyone said how impressed they were- great food at a great price, lovely atmosphere and a playground next to cafe for the kids.

The location of the place is so beautiful. I think this is the best coffee spot in sydney so far. Beautiful scenery and the ambience and the decorations of the place is very relaxing. The food was good too. I enjoyed my time here a lot ! will definitely visit again!

We visited this cafe today for the first time ….. we went with our daughter in law and 2 young grandchildren… It is such a rare find to have a lovely set up such as this, next to a children’s playground within a large park (Ryde Park) . We were able to enjoy a nice brunch with good food, good coffee and then wander nearby for the young ones to play. Loved it.

We had lunch here on Thursday 11th Feb. It was a nice day so we sat outside under an umbrella. The waiter was so attentive even before we ordered, making sure we were out of the sun and bringing us water. The menu is fantastic and it was hard to decide on what to order. We had The Colonel Salad, which was delish and a very generous serving, The Falafel Salad which was delish and huge and The BLAT which looked and tasted fabulous. The coffee was also very nice, so we had to have two! We will have to return to try lots more dishes on the menu, the All Day Breakfast in particular as it all sounds yum. Can't recommend this place highly enough. 😊😍

Sotto on Ryde is a new café in the centre of Ryde Park with great quality coffee and a quality menu. It overlooks the playground and park, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal or do some work and still be able to bring young children to play and supervise within line of sight. The owner greets you eiht a friendly hello on arrival and the staff are superbly helpful and warm. I would recommend this as the place to be if you're looking for an outdoors café with quality coffee.

The food here is delicious. The staff were nice and the atmosphere was good.

4.8 - Great Almond Flat White Coffee (fantastically creamy, $5 for a large), friendly service and a nice selection of Takeaway items offered in the midst of lockdown. Surrounded by lush green areas at Ryde Park, it gives us a nice breather on our nearby walks.

Nice little Cafe in the park. Sit and enjoy a nice breakfast or lunch while the kiddies play in the playground. Friendly staff and great food, served hot and fast. Toilets are close by and there is a bike track too!

Simple but great place.

I was working from there for a few hours till my car was being serviced at Ryde.
