My neighbour recommended Lara and team, I live in Sutherland and I wanted to find a local salon. I’m so glad I found them!
I can’t believe I didn’t come here sooner.
Everyone is so lovely and welcoming.
It’s a modern salon, yet cosy, and you feel safe and in good hands the entire time.
Maja cut my hair and today, we also tried braids.
Ebony does my colour and she does a wonderful job at listening to your needs and then works out what would suit best. I’m trying to be as natural and low maintenance as possible and I think we absolutely nailed it.
I also like that I’m able to bring my laptop and work from the salon, each chair has a little coffee table and a power outlet nearby (perfect for the work from home girlies)

I have been going here for years and Lara reliably gives me a great cut. All the staff, especially Lara are super friendly and knowledgeable. Can get busy so book ahead. Their website has a pretty good booking system so that's easy too. Give Lara and her colleagues a whirl, you won't be disappointed

The best salon you will ever go too! The girls are so friendly and really welcoming and I always walk away feeling so confident and happy it’s always confronting walking into a salon but the team are just so welcoming and accepting love these guys and love there work !

Michelle is basically an expert with all kinds of colours and she made my hair look so bright and vibrant exactly how I wanted. The salon environment is so welcoming and friendly and everyone is happy to help each other out to provide the best experience for their clients.

Amazing service, they listen to what I want and I always leave feeling fabulous. More recently, they went above and beyond to remove super glue from my hair. Thank you ♥

Lara cut my hair piece to match my own hair and she did a great job! I’ll probably come back to get my wig styled. Although the salon is public, she was very kind and understanding to my situation. Fair price as well! 100% recommend for anyone wearing toppers or wigs🙂

After a sub-par hair cut at another salon, I was able to snag a last minute appointment at Hair Design by Lara. I had not been here before and I was anxious as to how my hair would be “fixed”. I was warmly welcomed into the salon and introduced to Michelle who would be cutting my hair. After a short wait, Michelle put me at ease as she explained how she could make my hair look the way I wanted. After each section she cut, she showed me and kept explaining each step as she went. Got a full head of foils, bonding treatment, toner and a root shadow and my hair is beautiful! Ebony did an absolutely stunning job and my hair looks and feels amazing. All the staff there are super nice and friendly, they made me feel important and welcomed. Can’t thank them enough.

Always have a great experience at Hair Design by Lara, all the staff are super welcoming and friendly. Ebony does an exceptional job with my hair and has a lot of knowledge on what she does, I’m always made to feel comfortable when I visit this salon and I would highly recommend !

It is a good place for a hairwash the the lady's rub my curly hair my curls speak in curly language and I get curly gell put on my hair that brings my curls to the top looking for a good hairdresser come to hair design by Lara

Big thank you to the ladies at this salon. I came in with black/ dark brown hair and they absolutely nailed it. I even preferred how it turned out over the inspiration photo, the salon is clean, really friendly vibe. Can’t recommend this place enough. I don’t mind paying more when I get results that I love 🌸

Hair Design by Lara is incredible! I saw Ebony and walked out absolutely loving my hair even more than I did before!! The shop is beautiful and comfortable, all the workers are very welcoming and lovely! Definitely recommend!!!

10/10 recommended the hair stylists where so nice and made you feel like they where your family, also the hair stylist I had shown me how to style my hair to make the layers visible which was very thoughtful definitely would recommend to go to this hair salon and definitely would go there again:)

I was very satisfied with my visit to Hair Design by Lara. Jess was helpful, confident, and friendly. She listened to what I wanted, took her time, and asked me questions about what I thought, instead of just doing her own thing, which is something I have not found at any other salon. Definitely recommend and I will be going back!
