It was a great experience in this salon. I would recommend other people to go and make changes in their hair. I got my hair coloured as well as extensions with Divya for my wedding. She was very good and experience worker in that salon. I am so happy to get my hair done with her.

Had full colour + 15 foils done by Michelle last Friday my foils look amazing I've received so many compliments already, I totally recommend her she knows her colours. She went above and beyond with her talent and experience and also the knowledge she gives you to go home and still look after your hair. Also her services include so much more than just hair you gain an amazing friendship, very welcoming love her services, definitely coming back ❤

Best salon in Miranda by far! Once I found out Brendan was working there I was so happy! He is so experienced with hair and colour it blows me away every time i leave and see his work. So thorough in his work, best blow dryer EVER an amazing cutter knows my hair and when it needs a treatment.
Brendan is friendly funny and I love my experience every time I go in and visit!

Ask for Michelle in Blondes and Brunettes if you are getting your hair coloured. Michelle is a colour expert and gets it right. I dont have a hair dresser in particular but try different salons that fit in with my schedule. Mostly I come out disappointed as nobody can get the colour correct. However Michelle really took the time to listen and went out of her way to get the colour I wanted. I do believe staff have changed and Management is now doing their best here to correct the negative reviews. I think good staff leads to good reviews and a positive atmosphere for workers and clients. For potential customers make sure you always have a firm agreement on the price before any work is done. For management reading this review, if you have an Advertised Price for a service you must stick to it. Read the reviews on pricing. In all I was very happy with my last service. Staff are making a real effort to correct the negative reviews. If you want a great colour asked for the zany Michelle.

I always have a great experience at this salon. Friendly service and very good value for money. I also appreciate the normally quick turn around time. As well as colouring they also do a great haircut - Brendan does a very stylish bob.

First of all, in response to the review of the lady that said Brendon was “a bikie and locked her in the store” is incorrect. I was in the salon at the time, and no such words were exchanged; he was trying to ask you what colour would you like to be corrected.
Secondly, I would like to add that I am a frequent customer of the salon, coming here to get might weekly blow dry, as well as get my colour and foils done, and the occasional keratin treatment.
I have been coming to the salon for years.
I find the salon to be friendly, the staff know my hair colour and style I want for my hair.
I also find the salons prices to be the most affordable from any other places within the shire.

I just happeed to walk in to have my hair coloured. I was so impressed with the fantastic balayage and work that Brendan put into my hair. He didn’t waste time and I was in and out within 2.5hrs. Highly recommend. I will make the effort to travel from the eastern suburbs next time around. Price was amazing!!

Brilliant service by the whole team here, I have been seeing Brendan (the Senior Stylist) for over 6 years now for my colour and treatments, Brendan is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to colouring and I always appreciate that he takes the time to check with his clients what they wish to achieve with their hair, he is very experienced and I am always happy with the end result. The whole team at Blondes and Brunettes are very accommodating and I would highly recommend them.

Blondes and Brunettes is by far the best overall franchise salon. Far cheaper for the same quality as the others that charge you double and lecture you on why they're better. $160 for a full head of foils (back to back, none of this 15 foils is a full head stuff), toner, cut, treatment, and keratin treatment. Save yourself over $300 and go here.
The only thing you probably won't get is a bunch of conversation with your hair dresser, but that also means you don't have to put up with the drama and ego over at the competitor on level 2!
Be clear on what you want, and set your limits with length cut and colour brightness and you won't have an issue here! Thanks so much Olena!

I'm trying to complain about a particular hairdresser but couldn't find an email (as a review this Salon is exceptional, just avoid one particular hairdresser).

I am a regular at this hairdresser, along with my mum. We have been getting our hair done here for about 4 years, every second to the third month. I have never had a problem with this salon except for the past couple of times I have been coming. I am in disgust about one of your hairdressers, named Brendan. In just one seating I noticed this:

- He was doing foils on someone’s hair and after he was done he said “finally” very enthusiastically, the poor girl who got her hair done looked embarrassed and uncomfortable
- Whilst doing the foil, he dropped foil on the floor, his co-workers who were working so hard had to pick it up, and he also created a trip hazard, I have worked in OH&S and he had disrupted the safety of the salon
- Whilst other hairdressers are so busy and doing two people at once, he is singing and dancing in the mirror and staring at himself and using his phone rather than seeing a customer who was waiting at the counter
- I was unfortunate to get him as my hairdresser to cut my hair, he did not ask what I wanted and started cutting. I had to stop him and say what I wanted. I ended up with too short on one side and I hate my haircut. I was going to go back but the only way to fix it was to go shorter on the other side and I did not want that. I will not be letting him touch my hair again.
- I also always get the $55 cut, colour and blow dry. He tried to charge me $90 (now my mum and I are regulars, we know most of the staff very well) and I asked for blow-dry curls as I was going out that night and he refused to do it. I walked out with flat hair.

I love this Salon and everyone works extremely hard but this Hairdresser; I am so disgusted by his efforts and if I see him in there the day I come to get my hair done, I won’t be going in. I hate to complain because I am a regular here and really love all the staff but it’s not fair for them, they all work so hard and now with Alex has gone, they work even harder, it’s just not fair for them.

While Michelle and Lauren were amazing and did an awesome job on my hair. I witnessed the Manager of the salon, abuse and push one of her team during my time there. I have never been so disgusted by a persons behaviour.

It definitely left a bad impression, however Michelle and Lauren managed to repair the experience with their friendliness .

I am very impressed , love my new hair color. Sarah was the one who did my hair and she was amazing and very friendly. I have been so many different hair dressing salon but I haven’t meet a hairdresser quite good . Thank you Sarah for your amazing work. I will see you soon .

I have been going to blondes and brunettes Miranda for years now. Brendon is absolutely amazing with any colour or cut he does on my hair. I go there weekly for a wash and blow dry and I always leave with a smile on my face!

I’ve been coming to see Brendan for 8 years. I’ve been multiple Color’s but recently I was black and he’s been making me blonde. As you would expect going black to blonde is a long process but after my first sitting he managed to lift my hair pretty well. Very satisfied customer

Had a full head of foils today Michelle was fantastic my hair is really fabulous and the colour look and feel is 100% I have been visiting this salon for a while and have mixed service however, I can honestly say Michelle is the best! Looking forward to coming back

Had a fantastic experience! I came in to fix another salons mistake. My hair was over bleached and snapping. Mary was amazing she suggested I do a kertin treatment to try and correct the breakage. I returned a week later to get some brown foils to correct the over bleaching from previous salon. Could not be happier with my experience. Mary and the whole team were helpful and professional. I now have found my new hair salon in the shire!

I receive the best hair cut I have had in years ( I have curly hair which can be challenging).
My hair has never looked and felt better.
