Wonderful atmosphere and plenty of seating in the busy restaurant. Food was great and the service was very helpful. Plenty of tables to sit at and plenty of room

I was about to give this place a lower rating. After seeing the small pasta bowls and mediocre pizza. However the service was outstanding. One lady in particular who delivered our drink, was incredibly nice and charming. Consistently checking even though it was extremely busy. At the end of our conversation I made sure to get her name for truly making my dining experience the best I have ever had. I don't normally write reviews but I had to make an exception for Sophie. I hope she gets rewarded for her incredible efforts

Amazing absolutely amazing. Staff are polite and well trained, food is spectacular home made and fresh. Definitely coming back here

The veal scallopini was tender and tasty. Generous serve. Vegetables done to perfection and plenty of them . The owners Guido and Deanna were very friendly and polite. It was a Monday night so a little quiet. Guido asked if he could sit for a while with us. We shared a drink and told our stories. As it was our first night in town. And after 4 days on the road welcome company. Cannot recommend more highly.
All COVID rules followed. Clean and modern. With some nice antiques thrown in for balance.

Coming from Sydney and having an abundance of authentic Italian restaurants, I was a little worried about what I would find in Wagga Wagga. I checked out the menus of the other two local Italian restaurants and got even more worried! We walked past Basil & Olive and checked out the menu on their front window and was surprised to see that they make Spaghetti Carbonara with egg and not cream and that's when I thought these guys must know what they're doing. We walked in and I looked over at the pizzaiolo making pizzas and the way he was working the dough I knew we had picked the right place to eat. The pizza dough was light and fluffy and the ingredients used were restrained, fresh and you could taste the quality. Very nice food, we will be back for dinner next time we're in Wagga Wagga.

Delicious, authentic Italian food - makes me feel like I’m back in Italy! All the staff here are so warm and welcoming, which made for a great family night out. We’ve definitely added Basil and Olive to our list of favourite restaurants. Easily the best food in Wagga!

Beautiful delicious meals. My Mum and I had lunch here today and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had Chicken Parmajana, Pasta Carbonara and Polenta Chips and it was so delicious. The service was excellent and the premises were spotless. Great value for money and we are so glad they are in Wagga.

Cannot rate this family business highly enough. Really authentic Italian food of excellent quality. The signature cocktail was just sensational and that alone is enough to make me want to go back. The polenta chips were so deliciously creamy on the inside and crunchy on the outside and topped off with a devine Napoli dipping sauce. Meatballs, arancini, I could go on and on. Was an outstanding night and will certainly return again. Papa, to you, famiglia and staff, grazie.

Staff were helpful, a little under experienced on this particular visit perhaps, but they were pleasant and tried their best. Food was very tasty and the wait time was acceptable. One of the only dine-in italian restaurants open in Wagga Wagga on sundays which is great. We will be back!

We ordered three pizzas a focaccia and a lasagne. As usual it was all absolutely perfect! Give these guys a go I promise you won’t be disappointed as this is probably the tenth time we have ordered and the food has been amazing each and every time! Thanks again guys

The pumpkin ravioli with butter sauce and pine nuts was delicious. Also had salt & pepper calamari which was great. We shared the generous platter of cheeses, meats, garlic bread, arancini balls and meat balls.

Had a beautiful dining experience. Had the entree sharing plater, a beautiful authentic Italian pizza, and a risotto. Can't wait to come back and dine again.

Very happy with Basil and Olive! Consistently great, I know exactly what to expect every time and they’re always on time with their delivery. Great food, I can recommend the lasagna!
