I just had an incredible dining experience at this Malaysian restaurant. That could be the best one I’ve ever had!!! With a cup of Lychee Colada as a good start, we ordered the Mapo Cheese Curry Puff, Brown Butter Oyster Claypot Rice, Xiao Long Xia & Quail Claypot Rice, Beef Rendang Roti Canai and Char Siu etc. All dishes were absolutely delightful. The flavors were authentic, the dishes were creative and much beyond our expectations with so many surprises. It truly felt like a culinary journey to Malaysia. The staff was attentive and offered great recommendations. I'll definitely be coming back for more and highly recommend this place to anyone craving genuine Malaysian cuisine!

Recently visited Amah and had an outstanding experience. The food was exceptional, with every dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. What truly set Amah apart was their exceptional service and attention to dietary needs. They offer a dedicated gluten-free menu, which is a thoughtful touch for those with specific dietary restrictions. The staff were particularly attentive to our requirements, ensuring everything was well-cooked, including a fried egg made safe for pregnancy. It's rare to find a restaurant that combines great food with such careful attention to detail. Highly recommend Amah for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience that caters to all needs.

We tried the $68 bottomless supper, and loved the range of Malaysian dishes, esp the roti, curry chicken and hainan chicken siu mai. You also get 1.5 hrs of bottomless drinks (drinks included are margarita, aperol spritz, sangria, house wine and beer). Great spot for group dining in a casual fun setting!

I've visited a few times to this Malaysian fusion restaurant.I absolutely love! My top picks are xiao longxia with Singapore chilli sauce,char siu, crab meat tofu, and clay pot rice.

Nice atmosphere, attentive staff, and good food. Starters were a bit small for sharing, mains were good and tasty, and dessert was definitely in a size to be shared 😁 . I was a little bit disappointed with their noodles quality. Booking is recommended for popular time slots.

This is my favourite modern Malaysian restaurant! They have the most delicious flavour-packed, unique and creative dishes, including mie goreng, tea-smoked duck pancake, juicy flossy fried chicken and saucy Malaysian chilli crab. I am especially obsessed with their super juicy char siu and droolworthy bak kut teh xiao long bao!

The dim sum high tea is also such a special treat with the most inventive creations such as hainan chicken siu mai, chilli crab har gao and satay chicken spring roll.

I've been here a few times and there's always so much to try. They have some excellent daily deals as well, highly recommend visiting!

Love this restaurant. We just had the bottomless brunch here and we enjoyed our dining experience. Food was fantastic and service was quick.

Food is amazing, love the fried chicken!!!!highly recommend. Decoration is chill and the staffs are friendly and nice. Perfect place for party or dating.

I really like the Flossy Fried Chicken and Salt & Pepper Egg Cereal Prawn, they are crispy, awesome. The Xiao Long Xia is also great but if you order the Xiao Long Xia only dishes without vermicelli, that would be a feast!!
The staff there are also nice and always smiling.
Recommend it.

Finally got the chance to try this innovated Malaysian cuisine. Very special dishes and I really love their fried rice. Surprised to see many dim sums on the menu. The tea smoked duck breast is also authentic.

The place itself is so beautiful with a lot of seating, classic bar and great music!

The food itself was so good. They had such interesting flavours and it all worked so well together! Props to the chef for how nice food was. The flossy fried chicken was my favourite. Who knew condensed milk went beautifully with fried chicken!

Amazing Malaysian food here! I highly recommend their dimsum, their prawn toast and char siu beef ribs.

It is a bit on the pricier side but it is so worth! It’s share plate style and they also have some yummy cocktails.

We visited for the pork char siu, fried kue teow, pork floss fried chicken and wantan noodles. All top notch. But two humble dishes unexpectedly stole the show for me. The sambal kangkung. It had good proportions of ingredients and fried to wok hei which elevated the taste to next level. The boss dish for me had to be the Sago Gula Melaka. Generous amounts of coconut milk, sago and palm sugar combined for a jelly-like consistency that worked! Thank you to the fabulous serving staff as well. A delightful dinner experience :)

I have been to all Hojiak restaurants in Sydney multiple times over the years and the Chatswood one is by far the best in terms of overall taste for all dishes as well as service even though all Hojiak restaurants have good service.

I have tried their high tea brunch and their CNY banquet. The Amah branch goes above and beyond - both chefs and wait Staff are also very friendly and accommodating.

I have to commend the staff! They were all incredible and each and everyone went above and beyond during our time at the restaurant. The food was reminiscent of being back in Malaysia as were the drinks - will definitely be back soon!

Absolutely delighted with my experience at Amah by Hojiak! The live prawn prepared in the style of chili crab is truly outstanding. The smoked duck breast and Angus Char Siu Rib are equally impressive. A culinary adventure worth savoring. Highly recommend! 🌟🦐🔥

We had the 69pp set menu, with UNLIMITED drinks within 90 min. Very affordable and great value. Hainan chicken siu mai is a highlight. Chicken wings are delicious.

From the moment I walked in and took a sip of
Midori Fairy' I knew this was going to be an
experience to remember.
The delicious Steamed Dimsum definitely set a
high standard, and everything that followed was
finger licking
Then the gloves came out, and things got serious
as I smashed through the Malaysian Chilli Mud
Crab. The sauce was so delicious that we added it
into the fried rice.
The Flossy Fried Chicken didn't disappoint, and the
only thing that let me down was that I was so full I
couldn't eat more of it.
The Jumbo Ice Kacang was the perfect dessert to
wash it all down and so refreshing
