Pastorale has found the perfect balance of elegance and perfection with an easy, welcoming atmosphere.
We went for just a family dinner and loved our three course meal, cocktails in a can and wine to match.
The service was exceptional and anticipated our needs. Great pace and not intrusive, but still with personality.
Well done to the whole team.

Nice change up to your usual flavours. Staff were helpful and nice. Came in for a late dinner around 8pm with a group of 5. I would’ve deducted a star for the lamb fat tasting slightly undercooked and my friends had mixed feelings about the ravioli. However, I think this restaurant has potential to be great but maybe it was a mismatch of personal taste preferences in our choices so I will give full 5 stars as staff were attentive and respectful of my groups specific dietary requirements. The sides (primo entrees and Contorno dishes) were all very good. Would come again to try the other mains

My first time at Pastorale. What a pleasant and savoury surprise to discover fine dining in Wagga Wagga. We had numerous tasty dishes; exceptional kudos go to the chef for the sea trout crudo, the gorgonzola gnocchi, and the scotch fillet. We paired from a well-stocked wine selection to include a 2006 Margaux. Well done.

Excellent meal and attentive service. We were the only ones there on a Monday night (while everything else was shut) and the waiter was attentive without making us feel awkward. Excellent fine dining restaurant especially for a place only one month old. Cannot recommend enough. Eat here if you are in Wagga

We discovered this great restaurant on our road trip from Melbourne to Canberra. What a wonderful place. Seriously good food, wonderful, warm and welcoming staff and probably the best dinner at a restaurant for ages. We sat outside on the balcony because we had our two dogs with us. The staff were so accommodating. They even provided marrow bones for the dogs to calm them during a thunder storm. Not often you can eat fine dining and still have your dogs welcomed no matter how well behaved they might be. I had the grilled marrow bone with pickled onion and parsley salad for entree and my partner the grilled prawns with Calabrian chilli. Rare to find marrow bone on a menu and even rarer to find a chef that prepares it to perfection. The prawns delicious. Then duck and sides of grilled carrots and cos lettuce. Excellent all round. We wish we lived closer.

Frank Sinatra played in the background whilst I walked on a tartan carpet, into an ambiant, moody and sophisticated setting of round contemporary chandeliers hung juxtaposed against early century ceiling moldings. We were greeted by Emilio who introduced the menu. Richard, one of the owners also greeted us. We were served a cured kingfish which melted into our mouths. We also ate the 800 gram ribeye steak (for two) which was sweet, tender, flavoursome with a seasoned butter. We finally ate the ricotta cheesecake, and a panacotta desert. Overall, a great experience. A little pricey but an enjoyable and luxurious experience with excellent customer service.

I didn't expect that one of the highlight meals of my year would be in Wagga Wagga, but this place was exceptional. The food, the service, the decor and ambience were all absolutely on point. Don't think about it, just make a reservation right now.

Very tasty Italian food. The tagliatella with guanciale had a lovely hint of chillie. A good wine list and good homemade bread as well. We are definitely planning on returning to try more of their interesting dishes

You know how after really good sex the basking in the afterglow is nearly as good as the sex? Well that’s how dining at Pastorale is.
From the warm welcome, the subtle lighting, attentive staff, well rounded menu, and wine list through to the exquisite food and enjoying a sweet smokey Pedro Ximenez to finish, there is nothing not to like here.
The experience will stay with you long after the food is digested.

I am by no means a food critic - but can only speak highly of Pastorale - the food, the service, the ambience and overall dining experience - second to none. Whether it's a casual Friday lunch in the courtyard, Pasta Club or a meal with friends to celebrate a special occasion, the ever changing menu and quality meals makes it an easy choice as a go-to restaurant!

Super service and I went on Tuesday evening which was steak frites night in their menu. The food was great, it was a great steak! Awesome arancini and burrata for starters. It's probably a place for abit of a splurge but it was a great experience. The inside was Abit noisy but all in all cosy as we managed to sit by the fire. There is also an extensive drink menu and staff are knowledgeable about the different wines and spirits, and able to give recommendations which is refreshing!
