Platypus Shoes

5/5 stars, i am not one to leave reviews often, but around 2 months have gone by and i still think about my miracle experience here.
i was 6 hours away from home just to realise i had the wrong size shoes for the very important event i had the next morning.
After hours of searching wagga wagga, this was the last store i had wound up in. the worker named Johnny genuinely saved the day for me. when i walked into the store he pulled out the exact shoes i had in the correct size before i even asked about the rather obscure brand or showed him a picture, he genuinely just guessed by looking at me and i dont know how bro did it, give johnny a raise he’s a legend

Great shopping experience taron was lovely. Got 2 pairs of shoes,for me and my partner. Taron was so nice and helpful.

We we're in the Wagga store on Australia Day and received exceptional customer service.

The young girl was on shift by herself and she was flat chat helping me and my son and other customers

Under pressure she remained calm, helpful.friendly and very efficient.

I wish I knew her name, she did say she is a converse and doc Martin girl !!!!

I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

I purchased a pair of Reebok Club C Revenge MU Black/White/None 8 on 25/1/2023 at the Wagga store. I specifically asked for size 8 UK and I believe I even tried one shoe on. However, I was given the wrong size shoes (size 8 US) which is too small for. I did not realise I was given the wrong size until I wore the shoes on 3/2/2023 for the first time to work. I tried to return the shoes for the correct size but I was told there was nothing that could be done as the shoes had been worn (and that was the first time anyone had mentioned to me the company return policy which by the way was in extremely small, difficult to read letters at the very bottom of the receipt!!!). I paid $160 for those shoes. Clearly very disappointed. I explained to the attendants that I was a repeat customer but they did not want to know and couldn't care less. So obviously Platypus does not care about its customers and I for one (and anyone I know) will most definitely not purchase anything from that shop or any platypus outlet ever again.

Cannot go any lower!! I was standing at the door holding a shoe just looking at it. A girl came and shut the door right in my face without saying anything. Its fine that it was time to shut but it was extremely rude to shut the door that way. I was shocked and embarrassed. She could have just said it was time to shut and informed me. That rude attitude was not asked for. Never going to the store again.

I’m only giving a 1 because I can’t go any lower, the customer service and to the short fake red hair girl yr smart comment to have a nice day just topped off what appalling service you offer, I understand policies but to offer no help at all but to reply yr comment just shows why I won’t be entering or purchasing from this store or brand ever again, have a nice day !!!!

Staff is impolite specially for the girl so call 'manager",and the range of products was poor
