Material Pleasures is seconds designer clothing shop.
It is like a treasure chest for me.
Why wouldn’t you want to pick up a beautiful silk top for $35 or a wonderfully designed cotton top for $20.

Material Pleasures provides the perfect shopping experience from beginning to end.
The parking is easy and you enter a light, colourful, spacious shop, with good music playing at the perfect volume.
The staff are just the perfect degree of helpful. They provide whatever you need in a friendly way without any pressure whatsoever.
And then there’s the clothes! Not to mention the shoes and accessories! Beautifully presented, pre loved items with a great price tag. These are items you are not going to see on everyone else. Quality labels, gorgeous fabrics. My daughter and I both shop there. The range is perfect for a range of ages and sizes.

Lovely staff, great selection of great brands, everything good quality and well organised. Also enjoy that they buy clothes too, I have bought from here and sold to them too. Definitely recommend, no other place quite like it.

Just nabbed this uber-cute Edmond St top along with a beautiful tailored pair of Camilla&Marc pants and divine evening dress (just need to find an event now to show it off)!

An amazing find! I happened to stumble upon this store and I wasn't disappointed. I bought two amazing winter coats for a great price. Struggled to control myself as I wanted to buy everything in the store. 100% recommend checking out material pleasures, you won't be disappointed. Bonus points the staff were absolutely beautiful and their positive energy was infectious; Great experience!

LOVE this store - I always find unique, high quality pieces that I'm very happy to add to my wardrobe. Staff are friendly and helpful which make shopping at Material Pleasures really fun! It's also so great to do something nice for the environment, by recycling fashion and giving a second life to clothing!

Every time I visit Material Pleasures I find something I can’t resist. The quality is always good, looking like new, and the prices even better! The staff are friendly and helpful, and clothes are arranged so it is easy to find your size in different categories. This morning I bought a winter jacket ($65) and a woollen jumper ($40). I’m sure I saved at least $200.

It is always a "pleasure" to visit Material Pleasures. The shop is bright and light and the clothes and shoes are of excellent quality and are beautifully presented. I have always found the staff very friendly.

Material pleasures, is absolutely amazing! The staff are genuinely there to make sure you feel welcomed and looked after. The clothes are in top notch quality, in that they are clean and seem good as new, not only that - but they are also affordable. The shop itself doesn't have a busy atmosphere despite having many customers - the only busy-ness come from the changing rooms (and for good reason) it is clean and well looked after. Like all second-hand shops, you never know what you might find but unlike second-hand shops it is not musty nor dusty.

This store is like wonderland for vintage clothes lovers! I could easily have bought everything that fit and still wanted something else 😂 the find of the day was this stunning tweed suit dress, a little large maybe, but in the fight against fast fashion it's just right!

Best second-hand stop in Canberra! My partner and I managed to pick a couple of great pieces from here. The store selection is very well curated, well priced for quality garments and accessories. Great service with knowledge, friendliness and charm. Will definitely be back next time around.

Visited Material Pleasures to restock my wardrobe after movers lost 2 of my wardrobe boxes! The staff is very welcoming and there’s a good variety of styles & sizes in great condition. I purchased some lovely classic knits, a pair of boots & a stylish dress all for a reasonable price. Love the fact the items are pre-loved and they get another life. Will definitely return.
