We visited here in August 2022 for lunch.
The people are nice enough and the place is neat. The food available was quite OK.
The seating area is outside on a deck. The deck is largely surrounded by translucent, heavy plastic covers, and should give reasonable protection from the cold wind in winter.
You will need to watch the timing of your visit.
The results of a Google search indicated a closing time of 5:30pm. A blackboard sign outside said 4:00pm.
If you would like a pie for lunch, best to plan on an early lunch time, unless you are after a curry flavoured pie. The sign outside says ‘egg and bacon rolls’. If you ask for one at lunch the answer will be ‘no’. These are only available at breakfast. The kitchen ceases operation at 1:00pm. If you would like something cooked, such as a burger, ideally order so cooking can be completed by 1:00pm. If you ask for an egg on your burger at lunch the answer will be ‘no’ (eggs are apparently treated as a breakfast only item, and will have been packed away).

Suppose it would be good if it was open when I went there. Sign says closes at 5:30 but went at 5:15 and 5:20 on a Tues & Weds and well and truly shut both times! I mean just say 8 'til 5 so I don't waste my time walking over after checking in at Uni House...

The hours on Monday are 8:00AM to 5:00PM hey at 12:40PM on a Monday it is locked up.
