My daughters and I had our hair and makeup done at Saloon for a family wedding we’d travelled to Canberra for. We couldn’t have been happier. Sarah, Heather and Chelsea totally understood our briefs and delivered exactly what we asked for, on time and in such a warm and welcoming environment. Thank you so much ❤.

I had the loveliest experience at Saloon. I have very damaged, curly hair and was really hesitant to book after some disappointing experiences in the past with hair styling at other hairdressers. However, my hair was styled beautifully in a way I didn’t ever think was possible, I’m so happy and confident in my appearance and I just had such a great experience. The lady who did my hair, I didn’t catch her name unfortunately but she was just amazing. She was so accommodating and she was able to completely replicate the look I was after. I’m quite shy and not much of a talker and I think she quickly got the idea which was very relieving for me. I’m so happy with my hair and the service I received and I genuinely cannot recommend Saloon enough!!

My friends and I had such a gorgeous experience here this morning before a wedding. Sarah and her team are professional and amazing at what they do. Really beautiful salon, highly recommend.

I have been going to saloon since it opened and I can’t recommend it enough. I get lash lifts and my eyebrows tinted here and the quality of the services is always fantastic, particularly for my lash lifts which need to be carefully done because my lashes are soft. I’ve never had a single issue with them with Saloon.

I also recently did a makeup lesson with Sarah which was so valuable to understand how to make every day and going out makeup fit my face. Sarah is a great teacher and explained the concepts so well. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who is interested in understanding how to feel good and confident using makeup for the times that you don’t get a professional to do it.

An amazing experience, workers were a delight and open minded to my ideas. I walked out feeling like a million bucks. Very good attention to detail and my ideas for the final look.

I took an opportunity for a little self care and was pleasantly impressed with my experience at Saloon. The vibe was on point, the staff are friendly and amazing. I left feeling refreshed and renewed.

I have been religiously going 3 times a week to Saloon since I moved from the Gold Coast 2 years ago. This is an amazing place, Sarah and the girls are beautiful inside and out. I have had nothing but fabulous experiences at saloon. They have done my hair, tan , brows, eyelashes, makeup and 'special facials' (Dr Zac) for every occasion imaginable from awards nights, to balls, to very important self-care, to the moments where you just need a time out. These girls have become part of my family in Canberra and words are not enough to explain how professional and talented these wonderful ladies are, I strongly recommend all their services to all my friends :)

Facial peel review: I’ve recently had, hands-down, Canberra’s best facial peel from Mitch at Saloon. I’ve been to a few other competitors for peels, but none come close to this. Mitch explained every step of the process, was gentle and calming, and made me feel so welcome at Saloon. They use Medik8 peels - which I was not overly familiar with - but my skin looks so much brighter, feels tighter, and purged things I didn’t even know we’re hiding beneath the surface. Will absolutely be returning for more peels. Thanks Mitch and Saloon so much!

My first experience at a Saloon Bar and it was fantastic. I was in Canberra for a wedding and for someone who rarely goes to the hairdresser I decided to treat myself to a wash and blow dry. Bec was my artist and man she did a great job! I have very fine hair and usually when I get it blow dried it's limp within a couple of hours. Well not this time, I got a 8 hour wedding, some sex and high tea the next day and I still looked great. Bec, not just a great hair artist but a lovely person as well - highly recommend this place!

Very friendly and accommodating. The girls really calmed me down on my big day. Took the time to understand what look I wanted to go for and I was very happy with the hairstyle. They also did a great job with my mom who had her hair and makeup done. Will definitely go back here again.

The lovely ladies at Saloon did the hair and make-up for my wedding party and did an absolute STELLAR job! They were an army of fresh, happy and fun ladies who had skills beyond belief! I felt like a model and most impressively - my mum felt beautiful! I would highly recommend all of them! Can't wait to come back and get glammed up whenever I am in town for an event!

Thanks so much to the girl at Saloon who took the time to support me with choosing the right products for my hair! I’ve recently gone blond and I was worried about my hair breaking to pieces! I’ve washed my hair once with the Kevin Murphy shampoo and conditioner and used the infused treatment oil. My hair has never been this GOOD!! Thanks for making my hair fabulous again Saloon!!
