The staff were wonderful that went out of their way to help an elderly man post multiple items by giving the appropriate labled envelopes for certain items to go overseas..I was very impressed by their dedicated caring staff members.

Fantastic experience. After advising the staff here that I’d had a poor experience at another AP outlet they provided me a discount simply because of the inconvenience caused by the other store. A lovely gesture!

Absolutely terrible customer service. Both lady who were working, very so disrespectful. I wanted to get out of there asap. I would give 0 stars if I could

I arrived at 450pm 8/9/2022 and was advised that they were closing in 10 minutes and would not help. I begged and advised that I'd spent weeks getting to this point and had been organising my documents which were urgent since 8am. I advised that this was affecting my ability to earn and could not afford to come back later. These ladies did not care the least.

Horrible experience here, staff won’t do their job. Went in for a passport renewal, which is explicitly stated on the website to be at anytime, only to be told to come back later. This was when the store was completely empty. People are on a busy schedule with work commitments, it would have take 5 minutes to take a photo and sign my preprinted document. Go elsewhere.

If you work any kind of regular hours, and your post/parcel gets redirected here (because, you were at work or it couldn't be sent to a parcel locker) the hours are atrocious. Pick up only between 9am-5pm Monday-Friday? Such a joke. At least open for a few hours on a Saturday...

Otherwise parcels should NOT be redirected here, but should go to Kingston Post Office (which is open Saturdays).

Went in to send my mother a face-mask, lady behind counter was super rude. Just said "that ones for envelopes." No hello, no explanation. Said you need this package, scanned charged me and I paid.
I was sending it to NZ, she then said you need an international package. How was I to know it was a different package! I had to pay for another envelope.....
Or she had to say, was how can i help you and where are you sending the masks? No questions, just a sour look of frustration and assumptions.
Definitely wont come back here again.....

Never in my experience of Australia Post have I come across a more dismal and depressing example of a Post Office. My partner and I, and many friends and colleagues of ours, have been using this office for years and have all received similar treatment.

Throughout that time, with visits numbering in the 100s for both professional and personal purposes, I can think of only ONE example of a staff member here being friendly, helpful and courteous.

That individual who was helpful has since turned to ash in their subsequent months of employment. I don't know what it is about this place that kills souls, but the representatives are sharp, bitter, and direct spiteful and unprofessional comments to their customers.

I even witnessed an employee here once harass an Islamic woman about her country of origin and the validity of her Saudi Arabian passport when lodging some kind of application. For those not in the know, Manuka is adjacent to Australia's diplomatically zoned precincts in Forrest, Griffith, Red Hill and Yarralumla and 'strange' faces and accents are common in the area due to the presence of many embassies.

Recently, I took a parcel to this post office for a postage-paid return. The Australia Post branded return slip gave instructions to remove the old address sticker or obscure the old address (sticker was removed) and present the parcel and slip at the post office. Very simple - I have even done it before with no hassle. The postal workers first comment to me wasn't 'how are you?' or 'how has your day been?' - it was 'so you expect me to stick that on for you do you?'. I replied 'oh, sorry - I wasn't aware I was required to attach it.' I received a guttural grunt and a 'you aren't aware of much are you?'. I couldn't believe it. I calmly responded that the slip and the online instructions had not stated that it was necessary for the slip to be taped to the box. The employee stated that it was complete with a few more negative comments and I wished them a good day.

There is something rotten to the core in this Post Office. The culture is all off. Negativity can spread like a disease, but so can positivity.

I heartily encourage anyone thinking of visiting this store for any reason to instead attend the local offices in Kingston or Yarralumla. If you have no recourse but to go here - make sure you wear your best smile and be best prepared to block out the toxic smog these weirdos exude from their pores every day.

Staff amazingly rude. Was told by the staff member "Do you expect me to answer that question?" and gave me a filthy look.

Another amazing experience. They txt me "txt back if anyone will be at home today or not. 3 if no one home". I txt back within 5min and they still attempted to deliver to my house, so when i went to pick it up from the post office they didnt have it, the postman took it and wont be back till the next day. What kind of training do these people get??? I just feel sorry for the employees now

If I could leave a 0 star review I would, staff are very unprofessional, rude and untrained. The older man was very hostile towards a return I was making and demanded bank statements as a form of proof despite me having a receipt for everything I was returning.

I am very disappointed and will not be going back to this post office, the post office in Narrabundah offers far better service.

What a joke! I think Auspost’s monopoly has to change so that the culture of rude staff can be controlled. Hopefully Auspost will get its customer service training up to date. No Cartier watch for E.S.

EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF. I told them "I haven't sent parcel in years so could you briefly explain to me the process" and one of them said "use your brain and don't ask too many questions". I'm never coming back.

Can’t even believe I have to give these people 1 star - they deserve none! From the get go rude, unhelpful and very unprofessional! Not to mention the ‘man’ serving was the most egotistical misogynistic parasite on the face of this earth! Avoid this post office at all cost.
