Our family's favourite supermarket. Great staff, fabulous cheeses, freshest produce, outstanding deli salads. We bought salads in the large tray size to cater for 20 people. The beetroot and bean salads, tabbouleh, coleslaw were fresh and fantastic. Thank you Ainslie IGA.

My favourite shopping centre is Ainslie shop, every thing is here in the shops, but specifically the Supermarket.

Ainslie IGA, is family owned, they build the Supermarket over 50 years, up from small shop to what it is now, a modern Supermarket , for the customers of Ainslie and surrounding suburbs of Ainslie and all Canberra.

Reserve wide selection of local products and delivered freshly daily.

Make there own Hot Food, roast chicken with stuffing and with out, roast potatoes, and roast verges and more.

They make home made salads and dips.

All the Staff at IGA Ainslie are so Wonderful and Helpful, you ask were there is a product is on the shelf, they go 🚶‍♂ with you and show you the shelf is on. After you finished your shopping 🛍 they'll take your bags off grocery to the car 🚗.

Best is the Staff at the Butcher at the In-House Butcher, won every year The Best Meat Department of the Year, from IGA Department Stores. 🏬

They have amazing 👏 meat products an excellent quality meats on the shelves in the fridge, they cut the meat 🍖 every morning fresh on the day.
They trim meat for you also made-up combinations for you.
Summer is here, everyone loves ❤ BBQ,
All are made to the plates from two people to six, more coming to the BBQ, just ask they will cut ✂ the quaintly that you like 👍 to have.

Wish I could give 6 stars. Without a doubt, the best grocers in Canberra.
An amazingly wide variety of small goods, gluten-free items and, oh Lord, CHEESE!
Not just that though, Manuel (and you'll likely meet him on the floor, helping out) encourages his team to show the very best service.
Ainslie is a bit distant from my suburb, so I don't always shop here, but when I need something special or have the extra time, I will always travel here to shop.

The bad; Brunette lady at the deli who makes you feel like you’re a grub for being in her presence.

The good; everything else. Great selection of imported and local products you just don’t find annywhere else, fresh milk, spectacular cheeses and the service from everyone else has always been top tier. American sweets, local and imported meats and cheeses, soft drinks lots of unique products.

There is a lot to recommend in the Ainslie IGA. There's the marvelous 'Pantry' deli counter that, in addition to succulent meats, dips and fresh salads, serves the most delicious hot food; the in-house butcher; the fromagerie with an impressive array of international cheeses, and the great supply of fresh fruit and veg. As a regular I'm pretty used to all that stuff and probably take it for granted. What stands out for me is the staff. First, there's a lot of them. There's always someone around to help you find a product or help you grab something off the top shelf. And they're friendly. It makes all the difference and helps the Ainslie IGA stand out from the crowd. It's just a great example of local shopping done rather well.

Last weekend, the Ainslie IGA provided the catering for a special event. From my first inquiry to the presented outcome, it was a wonderful experience. The food was presented beautifully, thoughtfully and all so fresh. Thank you to all who made my requests a reality. I strongly recommend and encourage everyone utilise this fabulous service. Outstanding grocery shop. Great selection of meats from the butcher and breads. Most impressive were the cheeses with recommended beverages. Big ups for their contribution to reduce wastage. Will make the weekly drive to this gem!

Very nice supermarket, great selection of fruits, veggies, salads, fresh breads. It also has several vegan options, vegan cheeses, meat replacements, tofu and tempeh. Very organised and clean, staff is very friendly.

There are two things I love about this store, no three. 1. Good cheese selection - better than what you'd find at a Coles or Woolworths, 2. They are a stockist of Herbie's Spices and they carry a good range, and 3. They sell very tasty and fresh coffee beans. Plenty of street parking. Wheelchair accessible and family friendly.

This place is amazing. My wife and I make the trip over from the south side every now and then to try this shop's delights! Friendly staff, great range of products and something for everyone! The cheese selection has to be seen to be believed!

Lovely customer service and a great selection of cheese.

Best supermarket in canberra. Delicious hot chicken legs and hot pork belly at a really good price at the deli. They also provide alot of jobs to younger people and you never have to wait long.

The best IGA in Australia by far. My favourite place to come and check out the fresh local produce! Staff are ALWAYS lovely and so incredibly polite, and are always up for some friend small talk, or to lend a hand. I have been shopping here for many years, and love how the shop keeps to its morals and community minded qualities. At the Ainslie IGA, they really do care about providing a helping hand, by continuously providing services such as carrying groceries to cars, and assisting in packing bags, thats right! they still have packers! (Its the little things like this that really do make the greatest difference!). I was ever so proud of the hard workers, (and everyone behind the scenes!!) during the covid pandemic, and how they stayed cheerful during hard times, making my day significantly better. Never ever had a bad experience here, I highly recommend to anyone and everyone.
