My children loved the fish in the nursery area and the shaded playground. Despite the rain, our party was perfect set up on the deck. With friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere, your party at Kings Country Bayside is sure to be an unforgettable experience. We just loved it!

I used to frequent KCB with the previous owners..it was always quite unkept, unclean and the animals were over crowded and sad. Since Eliza and team have taken over, I have been nothing but impressed. The place is clean, the animals are well cared for and happy and the food well priced and delicious. All of the staff (young and old) are friendly and efficient. Yes food and coffee will take time during busy periods. It's a shame to see so many negative reviews (especially from the extremely busy easter weekend). We are so incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful place for everyone in the Redlands. A great place for a birthday party!
We had our daughter’s 2nd birthday at King Country and it was perfect. The kids (from 1 to 11 years) were entertained, the food was yummy, the coffee was delightful, and the live music provided a chilled out and welcoming vibe.
We will definitely be regulars for a weekend or mid-week outing, and I’d highly recommend it for those in search of a relaxing but entertaining party venue.

The absolute best place to bring the kids any time of day. Great coffee, fantastic play area and the beautiful animals make it a wonderful place to be. Two of the goats took a shine to my daughter and followed her nuzzling for little pats, the sweetest little creatures. The atmosphere and setting make it a relaxing place to unwind and enjoy. Definitely a favourite of ours.

Amazing setting for a relax and fantastic lunch. I haven’t had a burger like this since I was in News Zealand. Patties are homemade and absolutely delicious. Amazing staff and great service. Beautiful music to add to the atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back!!!

I took my granddaughter to King Country last week. What a special place the new owners have created. So many lovely memories here from when my own children were little.
The gardens are beautifully laid out, fantastic playground for the children, sweet little animals to pat and delicious food to enjoy too. It’s a fabulous family centred cafe with great coffee and fair prices.
Don’t forget to pick up a plant from the nursery on your way out. Very reasonably priced!!
Can’t wait to come back again for breakfast!

Had a great time there this morning. Eggs Benedict was so good and the kids had a ham and cheese croissant and a play in the playground. Very relaxing for my husband and I. The young soloist was good, great tunes playing in the back ground. Loved it 😍

I took my 5yo and 7yo boys here last Sunday. It was so good! They got to feed the goats and horses and play on the play equipment. We had lunch as well. The food was really yum. The place has a lovely feel to it. The small walk down the paths through the trees was really nice. I've told my Mama friends abut it and we are booking a play date there in the next 2 weeks. It will be on our regular rotation for catch ups. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been coming here for a little while now. Everytime the staff go above and beyond for me and my kids. They are so helpful and friendly. The little animals and playground are perfect for my kids. Not many places you can go with three kids under 3 but this is one of my top. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Love it and will keep coming for a long time I’m sure.

King Country Thornlands is a fabulous little cafe with delicious fresh food and coffee. There is a wonderful playground for little ones and the gardens are beautiful. It’s the perfect place for any age group. I’d highly recommend you give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Loved this place. Great for kids with playground and animals. It has been done up nicely since our visit years ago. The staff are super friendly and the coffee is great. Will make this a regular!

i love the ambiance of the place, felt like home. I enjoyed the rainforest walk and my 10yo enjoyed the play area and the animals… we tried their burger with home made patties and it taste good.. all in all beautiful energy in the place itself, will surely be back 🙂

My kids love coming to the variety of activities offered at King country. I love the coffee and the chill atmosphere even when the kids are rowdy, I can actually relax and enjoy. Thankyou Eliza and staff for making a inclusive place for all.

Went to King Country Bayside with family for Sunday Breakfast Freindly attentive staff good food with a great atmosphere the young guy singing was an added bonus we will definitely be back to try the lunch menu

This is my favourite place to come and have a relaxing meal, the recent work that has been done to the place has given it a nice freshen up, and I absolutely love the atmosphere with the beautiful rainforest gardens
