Gu Thai Cuisine at Chipping Norton

We had my husband’s and dad’s birthday dinner here last night and it was the first time eating here. It was absolutely amazing food, great portions and the service was fantastic! Our waitress/server was so accommodating and also so friendly and helpful with my 2 year old(he made a new friend). Definitely will be coming back here again. Thank you for a lovely evening

My boyfriend and I have been going here every week because it's so good 🥹 The staff are so nice and the service is so quick we only wait max 5 minutes for food...if you do go, you have to save room to try the dessert which was AMAZING 😍!! We will definitely come back!!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful dinner for a birthday celebration of 15 people. All the food arrived to the table quickly and all the same time so we were all able to enjoy our meals together. The food was delicious and reasonable priced with generous portion sizes and the staff were so welcoming and accomodating. The staff even decorated the space with a birthday sign which was very touching. We will definitely be back soon!

Went here for my partners birthday dinner.
We were welcomed on entry by polite staff. The food was delicious. I had the exotic island curry (mama chefs favourite) It is now my favourite as well, so much flavour. My partner had the massaman beef curry and loved it. The food is big portions we didn’t get to try dessert because we were so full. We will be back again to try the desserts. Also on-site parking.

It was sad to see a waitress being picked on by another older lady, maybe the owner. So we made a point of thanking the waitress for her service and expressing this to the woman also.

I come to Gu Thai for lunch at least 3-4 times per week and simply cannot fault the quality, value, speed, and friendliness of service. The owner ‘Tip’ is very kind, attentive and hard-working. The $11 lunch specials are my go-to — and it’s so tasty that usually order a second one as a takeaway for dinner. It’s second to none!

Amazing food everytime! Wonderful owners! Great service whether it's take away, dine in, or delivery! Masaman beef, panang, beef noodle soup, fried rice and cashew nut chilli jam noodles are our faves! Never disappointed when we change up our order and try something new! Light, fresh and so tasty, everytime!

This is and always will be my favourite local Thai place ! The food is so good and I have honestly never been disappointed ! Their curry puffs are so tasty and everything else we have tried has always been fantastic, the duck curry is my favourite.

The local area is lucky to have such fantastic food, can't recommend highly enough. Regularly have lunch and dinner, great food!!!

Consistently good with reliable lunch specials. Very impressed with the thick noodles in the pad see eew. Lovely to sit outside on a nice day.
