Food came super quickly, warm and delicious. Service and staffs here are superb. Don’t underestimate the portion. We ended up taking home some food cause we just couldn’t finish it. It’s a great place to dine and hang out in a group

A Friday night hit for the office crowd that is looking for a place to hang out and enjoy the start of the weekend. We were the only family in the whole restaurant which is great as you can enjoy the city vibe and atmosphere of the city life. Central location with great food and an extensive drinks menu. Enjoyed the night and loved the decor. The only complaint was with the loud music which is great if it's a nightclub but not in a restaurant where we had to scream across the table, please turn it down a little. A good selection of food may add a few more hot vegetarian options.

Tonight, I visited Jimmy Falafel and had an amazing experience! I tried their signature lamb wrap, and wow, it was incredibly delicious. The flavors were outstanding, even for someone like me who usually doesn't enjoy lamb. Their falafel was equally impressive—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Simply wow!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, which made me feel right at home. The service was exceptional and added to the overall fantastic dining experience.

I highly recommend Jimmy Falafel for a late-night meal. You won’t be disappointed!

The BEST falafels in the world, love their vegetarian platter with fried cauliflower and hummus. Lamb Kafta is delicious and I would highly recommend their spicy margaritas.

I recently visited Jimmy's Falafel located in the heart of George Street in Central CBD, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. As a lover of Middle Eastern cuisine, I can confidently say that their falafel is the most delicious I've ever tasted. We ordered Jimmy's vegetarian plate, which included falafel, cauliflower salad, eggplants, hummus, pickles, and other veggies. Each item on the plate was fantastic and shocking with rich flavor. The falafel and eggplants were fried to perfection. The plate cost $24, and its enough for one person. We also ordered a side of large fries, which were crispy and had a special flavor, priced at $6. With a refreshing sugarless coke. They provided free tap water as well. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, and they served us with love and smile. Despite the restaurant being full and often requiring a wait to be seated, it was definitely worth it. I highly recommend Jimmy's Falafel for anyone craving delicious Middle Eastern cuisine.

Love the ambience!

Loving the hospitality from the bar staff, really accommodating and friendly. Food wise, they were great. The falafel from Jimmys falafel was not dry, which is really good.

The lamb wrap is quite ok, if you opt for the spicy version, just fyi that it is not spicy. Great seasoning on fries, on point, crispy and tasty.

Baklava were good and reasonable price, especially from a merivale + sydney restaurant. Had the aperol spritz to cope the hot weather today.

Definitely will be coming back to Jimmys Falafel to enjoy more food!

Enjoy good food made with excellent quality. The food is cooked fresh. Everything on the menu is delicious but I highly recommend the chicken skewer, falafel, and garlic dip. The high prices are worth it.

First time I've been to the new shop and love the new space! Lunch was super busy, but the food was as good as I remember! (in fact, maybe even better!) Love there is so much flavour and every mouthful was a delight! The only teething issue would be delineating takeaway vs eat in patrons (it all gets very confusing at the front door)

A modern take on some of the best food we had in Sydney. While taking the light rail, we heard some youths mention how “slappin’” Jimmy’s Falafel was so we knew we had to stop and try it. And boy are we glad we did. We were in a hurry to a show at the Opera House and our food and drinks came out in no time!

One of my favourite places to go to in the city for lunch or dinner with family and friends. Service was great but it gets busy so either make a booking or come early to avoid missing out. Staff were attentive and food came to our table quickly. Stand-out dish was the lamb tongue which I've never had before.

It's not the cheapest falafel.
Best decor and atmosphere.
Very busy during lunchtime.
Authentic food with a modern twist.

Falafel pita is great.
I didn't like their 'late night sandwich', which is kafta... but tastes something else.
Otherwise, amazing service and friendly staff and manager who agreed me to take videos and photos of the interior

Loved it. Great location and it was bustling at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon. About a ten minute wait which they promptly texted to advise it was ready. The dishes were flavorful and fresh. The stand out was the falafel. A little spicy and a great take on the classic which didn't feel heavy/oily at all. Highly recommend booking and trying the rest of the menu. The chicken was well cooked and slightly charred. Awesome flavour combos and good service.

Stopped by for a late lunch on Saturday and nabbed a table outside. Heaters positioned by the tables made it warm and cosy.
The service is very friendly and welcoming as expected from the Merivale group. Food here is really good. The lamb kafta shish is so good. Really tasty flavours and juicy. The seasoning on the chips really elevates the humble fries.
This is the sort of place that’s good for groups to try lots of dishes on the menu for sure. Bull came to $80 for two people which is expected for city prices.
The restaurant is really nicely fitted out with lots of booth seating and also bar seating for solo dining
