We had a fantastic time at Apollonia in Sydney. Their cocktails were exceptional, and the vibe of the location was amazing. The interior is beautifully designed, creating a perfect atmosphere for a night out. The snacks served with the drinks were delicious and complemented the cocktails perfectly. Highly recommended for a great evening out!

Great buzzy atmosphere, the cocktails were delicious. Service was quick and friendly. We had to wait a while to get a table. They have a good selection of cocktails.

Walking down the stairs, leading to a curtain covered doorway, into a dimly lit basement - created an amazing first impression. Candle lit tables, with comfortable booth or chair seating, sparkling water on arrival and friendly attentive service. The drinks menu had specialty designed cocktails and boutique beer, which was not cheap but it is justified with the flavour and skills that created them.

Loved our night at Apollonia with a bunch of girlfriends! The team there were welcoming and friendly, they know the meaning to true hospitality! Lots of fun and good vibes. Delicious cocktails, beautiful atmosphere. Will return soon,

What a fabulous place. Takes you right back in time. A stylish establishment with some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had along with the very friendly & extremely knowledgeable staff really helped make the whole experience a memorable one. Big thank you to Jay who went over & above to highlight our night, wonderful to meet someone who loves the work & brings that over to the client. He was fully involved & up to date with everything to do with Appolonia & the cocktails & all the goodies that go into making them. He was exceptional. All the staff were very nice. A lovely bar for a romantic birthday night for 2. A grown ups place with a youthful twist. A great place to start the night before dining at the lovely Grana.

A cozy little bar with an awesome atmosphere to fit about 30 people.
The bartenders are friendly and attentive, and are keen to give you recommendations on cocktails or a scotch of your choice.

The quality of drinks are excellent. The cocktails are creative and the effort put into each glass is undeniable.

The background music is a warm mix of old school rock and rhythm & blues, that will make you comfortable to simply sit and sip on a beveridge and nod your head to the beat.

Finding a seat can be a challenge, and you may find yourself waiting at the bar for a little while until one of the limited tables opens up (this is my only gripe). The staff, however, are looking out for you and will let you know if they know you're looking. You really feel looked after at this bar.

Go on a Friday or a Saturday and you might be lucky enough to get a free shot. What a pleasant surprise!

I will happily return here. A great experience to have with a significant other or a small group of close friends.

Sofie is probably the kindest bartender I’ve ever met. I usually go to bars feeling lonely and self conscious but Sofie made me feel so confident and self secure that I approached the love of my life and we’re now engaged. This woman is kind, can hold good chat, and will encourage you to do good with your life. If you need a push to take your life to the next level, go order a vodka sofa and have a chat to Sofie, your life will change forever

Set in a Basement in Loftus lane behind Customs House you will find this sexy bar with delicious drinks and their iteration of the very Sydney dish steak tartare.

We loved this subterranean bar! The aesthetic is low lights, candles, sandstone walls, huge timber beams, good tunes (Nina Simon, The 5 6 7 8's), and super friendly staff from the moment we walked in.
We found a cozy corner and delighted in the extensive Godfather inspired menu of cocktails. Each drink was so delicious and fun. My favourite was the Hills of Savoca (strong citrus notes), my partners was Love at First Sight (so smooth )
The staff here love what they do. It shows in their smiles, the care they take in making the magic happen with these drinks and their attentive and warm vibes. Our waitress( sorry I didn't ask her name for this review, long dark brown hair, high ponytail) was such a delight. Incredibly professional, super attentive, and elevated our experience to a great night!
The food was delicious and I imagine it comes from the sister restaurant upstairs!
We will definitely be back and highly recommend Apollonia. Get in by 4:30 pm to get a good table.

We did not eat here but we did go twice for drinks during our short stay in Sydney. Fun, creative drinks. Small spot, but lovely decor. We would go again.

Happened upon here by accident as was dining at Lana upstairs. Highly recommend coming here for a drink before or after dinner, but there is a fairly extensive menu here too.

Bar was small and very loud if that’s the vibe you are going for. Not suitable for intimate conversations.

Cocktails were really really good. The tiramisu milk punch was super delicious, felt like we were drinking a dessert.

We went to Apollonia for our anniversary - and loved it.

It's a small bar with drinks themed out of a few chapters from the godfather story. Now the drinks and music were great. The place is small so the timing of you being there and the crowd will have an effect on how much you enjoy your time there. We went in around opening hours and were able to get a seat which was great.

Service was quick and friendly, we'll definitely be visiting again.

Beautiful vintage vibe bar located short walking distance from Circular Quey. The Bartender that attended us was very professional and friendly, loved watching him make our drinks.

Really great bar for intimate drinks! Italian inspired menu with wonderfully made cocktails. Great mood and atmosphere.

10/10 experience, we found this venue whilst trying to escape the rain on Monday night. Despite every table being full, and only two visible bartenders, service was quick and knowledgeable. Very impressed.

A letter never sent is definitely a fave cocktail from the menu. Very moody ambience with a good selection of snacks. The bartenders were also very helpful in creating off the menu mocktails for friends who had to drive.

What a cool little bar. From the velvet curtains through to the sandstone walls. The staff are friendly. The drinks are interesting and well made. It’s not expensive for sydney and we’ll worth a visit. I would definitely go back as it has great cocktails plus a lot of the Italian old school aperetivos which you don’t often see
