Yamba Ocean Pool

Yamba Rock Pool.

This pool was fantastic! Easy pathway down to the pool and we were ready to jump in. It was a pretty shallow pool I could walk from one end to the other, not the kiddos though, but they swam from end to end as quick as possible as they wanted to be washed off the rocks into the extremely shallow kids pool (just ask my knee that I ripped up when I thought it was a lot deeper than it was).
We had a blast waiting for the big waves to wash us away.

Because this one is carved into the rocks it has some pretty rad rock formations to explore with the kids. We spent a decent amount of time at this pool and beach, drawing in the sand and finding shells.

Fabulous ocean pool in a gorgeous coastal town. Didn't want to get out of the pool after a 25km bikeride around Yamba and the cycleway to Angourie Surfing Reserve Lookout. Fabulous end to our day of cycling, picnicking & exploring Yamba. The rock pools around the ocean pool are so pretty with different seaweeds & molluscs than the scarce rock pools we have closer to the border. The lighthouse turning on while we were swimming at dusk was beautiful. Will be back for a wonderful late afternoon salty swim again soon. Thanks for a wonderful day trip Yamba!

Yamba is such a wonderful holiday destination, everything you need for a well earned break can be found here. Love the ocean pool and all that Yamba has on offer.

Such a great addition to a lovely little beach. All the benefits of salt water without the waves crashing on you and sand ending up in every crevice lol 😆 Love that this beach has a pool!

Hahaha I got soaked by the waves from the incoming swell last time I was here.
