Defenders For Hope

I visited Logan Village Defenders For Hope Op Shop on Wednesday the 12th of a October 2022 for the first time upon word of mouth. I was sincerely impressed with the space and layout of the store and the availability and prices of items. The shoes were in good used condition and some of them were brand new or barely worn for $3.00 each no matter what, AMAZING. I picked up 6 pairs of shoes for $18.00

The women’s shirts were $3.00 each, I found some really nice secondhand shirts.

The women’s handbags were in good condition for secondhand and the prices were extremely desirable and reasonable. I found a old handbag that was dirty, well used, rusted, tiered, no brand for $4.00 upon getting home and opening the bag I found two 1970 cinema tickets from Melbourne inside! I realised that the handbag was a 1960’s handbag and it was real leather. The leather has faded and was extremely old and tired, I polished the leather and restored it. I absolutely love this handbag! I adore it! It’s my new favourite bag. It now lives on! I have pictured the handbag after it was restored.

The staff are so friendly and they recognise me. Great customer service.

Wonderful op shop the treasures you will find there are amazing and so are the prices love the layout and friendly team I always get a free coffee and sometimes a treat love it

My absolute favourite op-shop, it's a gem. Lovely volunteers, a fantastic and well-organised range of stock, and the best prices. (Not only are their normal prices low, but they regularly have amazing $1 clothing or fill a bag sales)

Bumped in to this treasure shop accidentally. Its a bit away off a main road but a lot of people come and go from this shop. All the staff were nice and friendly, great items to browse, and if you look carefully, you might strike yourself a bargain!

Can I just say I'm very greatful to have come accross this place! Did not expect the help I received after going through some difficulties since COVID, with my lease ending in December last year and having no luck until now to find a place everything I had was lost so trying to get my life back on top, I went in looking to get a few things for my new place, as my sister mentioned my situation to one of the ladies they jumped to offer some support right away. I'm very very greatful for Defenders of hope, Cannot appreciate your cause more.

I come here every week, lovely set up and even lovelier staff. I really appreciate how the books are in category sections not just alphabetical so I can look specifically for my taste!
