Anglicare Barry Marsh House

My sister and I were very lost when we were told that our Father needed care and could not live by himself anymore. But as soon as we entered Barry Marsh House and were introduced to staff we knew that this would be his new home. From the welcoming smile of Marianne at the front desk to the nurses and staff it has always been very friendly as well as very professional.

I would like to thank the staff at Barry Marsh House for looking after my mother after my father passed away last year.
The staff have been wonderful to mum helping her by sitting and talking to her when mum hasn't been feeling well. I am so glad mum is in Barry Marsh House with caring and friendly staff around her.

We would just like to thank the staff for their supportive and caring work they do each and every day at Barry Marsh House, which has the best of everything giving our families the comfort knowing our loved ones are so well looked after and cared for in a safe environment. I agree with all the beautiful and positive reviews for BM House. Our Mum has been there 3mths and she loves her room and loves all the RN's who look after her and chat with her everyday. All the RNs are friendly and caring and special thanks to Sunita who has a bubbly personality and is always encouraging Mum to participate in activities and have her meals in the dining room with other residents. I love everything about Barry Marsh House and would highly recommend it to anyone 😊

My father inlaw is moving into BMH soon and I just wanted to write a quick review on how wonderful and effortless this process has been. We were greeted by Marianne the receptionist and then Katrina the pastoral carer, both were so welcoming. We were shown around the home, met the lifestyle team who were already so encouraging of my father inlaw to join in and make friends. The manager Jobin came and introduced himself and Kelly helped us to complete all of the paperwork. All the staff are lovely and very welcoming. My father inlaw hasn't moved in yet but is so excited and can't wait, he said it already feels like home.

My father was a resident at Barry Marsh House & recently passed away. The level of care he received during this final days was nothing short of outstanding. From the RNs, to carers to the pastoral care, even the general staff in the office, I can't praise them highly enough. Not only was my father cared for beautifully but us the family were also care for so lovingly. I will be forever grateful.

My mother has been in BMH for 4 weeks now and she absolutely loves it. She was very hesitant about leaving the family home of over 70 years but now whilst being at BMH we have seen an improvement in her mental and physical abilities. And there's a sparkle in her eyes which we haven't seen in awhile.
The staff are caring and have a warmth and passion for their work, they have assisted us in the paperwork and keep us well informed.
I can highly recommend BMH for anyone looking for quality care for an older loved one.

Our Mum moved into BMH 3 wks ago and Mum didn't want to go into a Home. We picked BMH based on its reputation by friends and that it looks beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious, with lovely views, and the staff were so welcoming and caring. We had some teething problems with Mum but into her 3rd week, she is a different person. She is happy, loves her room and all the staff. The RN's are so attentive and caring and the Receptionist Marianne, is so friendly and helpful with anything we need. From the moment we walked into this beautiful home we were so excited to rehome our Mum here as we knew it was the best place for her and we can't thank Marianne and the RN's enough for helping Mum to transition so quickly. Would highly recommend BMH to anyone wanting their parents to be lovingly looked after in their later years🙏🩵

My father has been in care at Barry Marsh House for the past two months. Our family could not be happier with the level of care that he is receiving. From our first meetings with staff to organize admission, to the day to day care he is now receiving, everything has been of the highest order.
All of the staff are so friendly and caring and the residents have made him feel very welcome as well.
He settled in quickly and has made the adjustment well.

My father has been in Barry Marsh for the last 3 months. No one wants to send their loved one to a home but in saying that the staff and caregivers have been wonderful with my father. They treat him with respect and warmth and nothing is ever a problem. The meals are first class with such a variety and all freshly made. I have no hesitation in recommending this nursing home, this is definitely one of the best.

I was expecting this year to be a terrible one after my mum having her second below knee amputation.
This establishment however has made mums transition so effortless.
The staff are all so friendly and outgoing.
Facilities and private single rooms are beautiful.
Minor teething issues do occur but seem to be dealt with quickly.
As inconvenient as the Rat testing is at times, it has proven to successfully keep the home low in illnesses.
My priority is my mums health and happiness and so far so very good.

My dad has been at BMH for almost 2 years now and everyone has taken the upmost care for him. I’m very thankful and blessed to have such a caring team, particularly Mikay, who has gone above and beyond for my father, who is not easy to look after. Thank you so much for all your help and support. My mother was so worried and nervous before she arrived at Barry Marsh. Once she settled into her room, she smiled for the first time in a long time. It is such a relief to know that she is happy and secure. Barry marsh has wonderful new facilities but it is the smiling help staff that really stand out. Our family are extremely happy with the care and kindness shown to our dad on a daily basis. Most importantly he feels secure and happy in his environment and the way staff care for him. He feels part of the Barry Marsh family.

My 87yr old Grandmother moved from a different nursing home to Barry marsh house shortly after they opened.

From the moment we took a tour; myself, my wife and my grandmother were all blown away! The facility is beautifully designed and includes incredible ammenities making it look and feel like home. The staff are always friendly and really informative.

Nan has made new friends enjoys all the activities they offer and is happier then she has been for a long time!
My wife and I are a lot more at ease knowing she’s being looked after well.

I have been in Barry Marsh House for 3 months after leaving hospital after a serious accident. I am 74 years of age and was informed by my doctor I would require 24/€ care from now on. Since coming into Barry Marsh House, I received the best treatment and care from all staff. They are very professional and caring whilst looking after me. The rooms are kept clean and well looked after and all my needs are catered for.
