A perfect spot in central Gymea.

We were excited to see La Cucina had started doing breakfast and hope they carry on with it indefinitely!

The food was delicious. The avocado bruchetta in particular was a really great idea and the bread was unbelievable. Well priced too in line with neighbouring restaurants.

Coffees were amazing. We've had coffee here before but this time there was something special about them. They also do some lovely fruit juices if you don't fancy a hot drink.

At breakfast, we ate outside, where there are plenty of tables and many of them are covered. They also have highchairs available and the staff were very friendly.

After having such a good breakfast experience, we decided to try dinner here too, and it did not disappoint! The food was all delicious, and the ability to bring our own wine made that part perfect too! Service was lovely, the interior of the restaurant was really nice, and we left already wanting to go back!

We celebrated our Christmas party at La Cucina. We did it on a Sunday afternoon. When they are not normally open.
It was fabulous. We did a grazing platter and popped money on the bar.
Sarah and the team were fabulous. Highly recommend for a private event.

Last night my friend and I stopped in at La Cucina for a coffee and dessert (the homemade Tiramisu) and it was just perfect. No pressure to order more, just happy for us to sit outside and enjoy the cool night - the heater was on - and it was perfect. Sarah and the team were all friendly. Highly recommend!

We love our coffees and breakfasts here. We have been shown extreme kindness, friendliness and generosity.
Hint: that crumbly topping on your scrambled eggs 👍 and my husband”s love of it lol

Decided to have dinner with the kids one evening and was lucky enough to get a reservation. When we arrived Mr 4 yo decided it was nap time however staff didn't make a fuss or make us feel awkward, in fact were extremely welcoming and was mindful of him asleep. Gave us a wall seat so he could lay down on the lounge whilst we attempted dinner. Staff were fantastic, we got drinks promptly and food ordered. When Mr 4 yo woke up, must have smelt the great food, staff were so accommodating - offering colouring in, toys etc for entertainment which is a change from most restaurants. Food was absolutely delicious. Staff and service was fabulous - highly recommend if you wish to have a meal with the kids or just with your partner. Thank you for a relaxing, quick and delicious meal!

This authentic Italian eatery has plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, nice friendly staff, meals are very tasty. Only downside was very loud atmosphere for my taste, so I guess do not expect having a quiet dinner.

We met up with a group of friends for dinner at La Cucina, the food was fantastic with quick service at a great price.

We had our sons baptism reception here and couldn't have been happier with the service Sarah and her team provided on the day. As we had 40 guests we were able to book the whole venue for Sunday lunch when they're normally not open.
We had the set shared menu and everything was cooked beautifully; the roast porchetta was to die for! Our friends and family left full and satisfied. There was no issues either with setting up our own dessert table.
All in all a fantastic experience here.

Fresh food (dinner and breakfast), decent portions, perfect location, simple menu with something for everyone.
Delicious! I would just like to see a carbonara or boscaiola on the menu! Also always friendly professional staff.
Winter is really nice to have dinner there too, under the heaters outside, just need to dress warm!

Love it. Photo was of my entree, the delicious field mushroom stuffed with feta. The chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto is a must have mains.

Had a very nice experience. Reading some of the reviews left me a little bit worried leading up to it, but I can honestly say that I didn’t experience any of the negative things other people were saying. We sat outside kind of in the walk way which was a little awkward at times but it made signalling for the wait staff pretty easy. As long as you’re dressed warm enough for winter sitting outside is quite pleasant. The food was excellent and the wait staff were very polite, nice and attentive. The main negative thing that I have to say is the door is a nightmare. Because we sat so close to the entrance we could see how the wait staff and other people struggled with it all night as the door kept coming off it’s rail and getting stuck. Other than that my whole family had a very enjoyable night and will definitely be going again.

This is a bit late, but I booked for my birthday for myself and 9 of my closest friends. It was a weekend with a street fair on, so we had a great atmosphere around us.
The wait staff were brilliant. I know we had one still learning, but she was most professional.
The food was amazing. Most all had two courses as we had cake for dessert. The food awesome.
We had a few regulars who pointed us to top dishes and they didn’t disappoint.
I have missed celebrating my birthday these last few years, coming here made up for it (and of course the company!)

Had dinner here during the week. Friendly staff, great set up and great food. Menu has so many options will have to come back a few more times to figure out what’s best on the menu.

La Cucina hosted an 80th birthday lunch for our family and I could not be more thankful to them for making it such a special day. The team went above and beyond to make it a memorable occasion, and every dish that came out was absolutely fantastic and cooked to perfection! I'm shocked to see a negative review from around the same time as our booking, the timing of delivery of meals was not an issue in my opinion, allowing a casual and relaxed dining experience among family without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. You guys facilitated a wonderful day for us - thank you!
