The burgers are huge & juicy here, definitely need to be eaten by two hands!! I had Gymea special which had bacon, cheese, egg & pineapple which was so delishhh 🤤

The varieties of the fried goodness are great!! The calamari rings, fish & chips were so good, as well as my fave: potato scallops 😍. They also have pineapple fritters, chicken croquettes, crab claws, chiko rolls etc. Their cocktail sauce is so yummy. And chicken salt is a must!

Chips were Hot, and Cooked perfectly, and thoroughly, Salted kindly, and simply delicious, they tasted as any chips should... but just a whole lot tastier. The service was great and they only took roughly 2 minutes to serve our food. There was a great friendly atmosphere around the store, and everyone knew each other.

We are Queenslanders visiting Sydney and looking for dinner one night and came across Gymea Bay Seafood and thought "what the heck"? Truly wonderful. Battered fish, potato scallops, crab claw and prawn cutlets could not have been better. Will definitely go there again when down this way.

Wanted fish and chips at a local place. Crumbed fish was cooked perfect. Also had scallops and crumbed prawn cutlets. Service and cleanliness were excellent. Will come again.

This is a great place for a quick feed. The chips are crispy and plentiful. The batter is pretty good on the fish. Good little local.

I rate a fish & chip shop on four products:
Battered fish, prawn cutlets, chips, and potato scallops.
It’s rare for any cafe to get all 4 of them right, but this place basically nailed them all!!!

Very close to perfect!! The cutlets were superb - juicy, flavoursome, crisp crumb coating - just amazing (100/100),
the fish was spectacular - cooked to perfection, with an awesome crisp batter (100/100),
the chips were excellent, with enough nice crispy little ones (my favourite) another (100/100),
and the potato scallops almost perfect - just a bit inconsistent in how thick they were sliced so some were a bit too thick (99/100).
So glad we found this place - it’s a gem!

Love the food here. Big fish cocktails. Nice chips and the shop is always kept clean. I cant recommend it enough.

This is a great fish and chip restaurant. Service is friendly and super quick especially if you phone up for a take-away. The food always smells fresh as does the oil that they use for cooking.
Prices are super reasonable.
As for the food, grilled fish is superb, battered fish is delicious and the hamburgers are to die for.
Chips well there are never any left over so need I say more.
In fact that is what we are having for tea tonight

This place definitely lives up to its good reviews. The fish were fresh and delicious. The fish burger were also very good. Special thanks to the lady owner who's customer service went above and beyond. The day was very hot and she gave us ice cold water for free. Definitely worth a return.

I have been coming here for many years so have my parents,food is cooked quickly and it's delicious, we've never had a problem, our Christmas seafood, oysters,prawns,lobster,which they get fresh from the markets is also always ordered from here for Christmas Day,nothing is a ever a problem to the friendly accomodating owners, prices are also great!

The hamburgers are the best, if you want a good ol fashioned aussie hamburger generously sized this is the place!!! Sooooo yummmm!!!

The grilled barramundi best we ever had. Chips hot and crispy. Highly recommended.

The lady who served us was an absolutely person the food serving size was amazing the food quality was perfect totally enjoyed our experience
