Kim Is a legend❤ Absolutely one of the most hospitable people I've met. We had a beautiful experience at the saladin lodge. Kim made us feel at home. Her love & warmth was just next level. Our daughter had lots of art/craft fun at Kim & she even put up her work of art up on the Gallery. We got to feed Birds , Horses & Trouts. The World class Breakfast this Morning was the cherry on top. We loved the Array of healthy options & those Mushrooms & spinach were sooooo aromatic. The Pear & apple stew was Delectable & the cherry Jam was heaven. Highly recommend her spacious and immaculate accommodation ❤

10/10 highly recommend Saladin Lodge. Absolutely beautiful accommodation. Rooms are spacious and wheelchair accessible.
Kim, the host, is an absolutely amazing person. Thoughtful, kind and very knowldgeable. Kim gave us some amazing places to visit, during our stay.
The towels are always fantastic, large and fluffy! The beds and pillows are comfortable.
Oh, and the breakfast is delicious.

The most amazing experience at Saladin Lodge. I bought my partner a voucher as a birthday present -one night getaway. This stay exceeded our expectations. Very clean , warm and cosy, Kim’s attention to detail is impeccable, she puts her heart and soul into this property. The breakfast was also amazing , highly recommend.

Kim's service alone justifies the 5 star rating. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was to much trouble for our incredible hostess. Add to that, a clean and very comfortable room with breathtaking scenery and you've got the perfect getaway. Will definitely try and get back here again. Thank you Kim!

This was our second stay at Saladin Lodge, staying 2 nights on this occasion. Kim is the perfect host....knowledgeable of things to see and do, our deluxe king suite was beautifully appointed and the cooked breakfast was delicious. Saladin Lodge is the perfect place for a getaway without travelling too far from Melbourne. It is a fantastic place to use as a base to explore all that the region has to offer or to simply relax and enjoy the property and its surroundings.

Saladin Lodge. For 2 nights we stayed at this place. Accommodation was perfect, everything that you needed was there. The scenery was spectacular, walking trails, or plenty of seating just to relax and enjoy the view. So quiet and peaceful. Inside the Lodge 2 log fires keeping it so warm. Breakfast was included, and there was a selection of food to choose from. We ate at the lodge for dinner one night with Kim our host. What a lovely person Kim is. So friendly and full of knowledge. We wish Kim all the best for the future, and would like to thank her again for the hospitality that she showed us. A great couple of nights away. Thanks Kim.

Whilst Saladin Lodge may seem a little out of the way as a location, you cannot find a better place to stay. Waking up to horses in the paddock, kookaburras calling out and ducks on the pond is just perfect. And to top it all off, the owner, Kim, is one of the most interesting, helpful and welcoming hosts that you can desire.
We had a wonderful weekend exploring the region from Marysville up to Eildon, knowing we would be returning to such a lovely place to stay.

The Lodge is in the most beautiful setting, and so well cared for. Everything you could want is there, the spacious rooms are modern and perfectly styled. Scrumptious breakfast provided and a cooked breakfast if so desired by the lovely Kim, who could not have been a more gracious host.
Perfect setting for couples, groups and business functions.
The large common area with welcoming fire, lounges and view is something we won’t forget…

Host Kim is one remarkable woman-kind, generous & welcoming. Mesmerised by her after-dinner story on the history & beginning of Saladin Lodge. Delicious & healthy well balanced cooked meals enjoyed by all. Kim kept our young daughter engaged with trout, horses & parrot feeding. Fabulous view of surroundings up the hill within the property. Would love to come back in winter & enjoy the hospitality of Kim. And oh, the grocery store stocks great range of local produce & gifts. Thank you Kim for our wonderful stay.

Everything was perfect, beautiful room with amazing surroundings and a gorgeous host!
Kim would do anything to make the guests feel welcome. Kim didn’t just gave us great information on where to go and what to do but entertained us with some really interesting Stories.
We just wish that we had more time to make the most of this beautiful property and it’s host!

My partner and I stayed here during the April school holidays and we could not have asked for more comfortable stay. Nestled on a beautiful property surrounded by wildlife and country charm. The owner upgraded our room and cooked us a wonderful breakfast in the morning. We will be back here again!

The most wonderful night away for our wedding anniversary! The Saladin Lodge is a must see. We had a picnic down at the Jetty and enjoyed a nice walk around the property. The best thing about Saladin lodge is the wonderful host Kim who has created an oasis - she prepared us an amazing breakfast and made us feel at home. If you want to learn more about the Yarra Valley or have a relaxing weekend away I would highly recommend. She is a wonderful example of getting out and seeing what regional Victoria has to offer!

Our two nights stay at the Saladin Lodge was great! Kim is an exceptional host and the place is absolutely gorgeous.

We had the outside room(with ensuite) that led straight out into the bush.

Kim cooked delicious breakfast both mornings (included) and also offered lunch and dinner(additional cost) if we needed it.

I will visit again but will wait until my little ones are a little older because the place hosts multiple guests and our kids were pretty loud in the shared areas which wasn’t ideal. So we had to keep our kids outdoors most of the time. They didn’t mind that though 😃

We stayed at Saladin Lodge a few months ago and found it very clean and comfortable. The owner Kim was SO LOVELY and made our stay extra special. Loved the open fire in the main room and Kim made a gorgeous breakfast. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing stay. Location and facilities are amazing. Kim is one a of kind, made us feel so welcome and was a terrific guide to the area.

We appeared out of nowhere in the dark of night, a last minute dash. We found Saladin Lodge up on Taungurung Country and we absolutely loved it. Our room was spacious with a king bed and robes to wear. We awoke to a beautiful spread for breakfast with onlookers with pouches and joey's. Beautiful king parrots kookaburras and a kingfisher. Our host Kim said, no problems about checkout take your time. We walked the surrounding gardens and bush admiring the beautiful array of Mountain ash. We sat in the garden and even shouted ourselves a coffee from the public coffee shop on the lodge grounds. We simply could not fault our stay. There were some children but they were well behaved. Kim has a piano, fireplace and a lovely ambience to the lodge. There were stunning works of art by local artist on the wall. Ive stayed at leading hotels of the world in tyrol, yet my stay was just as lovely, the atmosphere was soothing to my soul, pleasing and I felt like if id had a worry in the world, it had all escaped. Therefore I would highly recommend a weekend away or night stay. I would stay again. Thank you Kim from Jo and Tony

Lovely place to spend a night or two to relax. The grounds, rooms and common areas are beautifully maintained. The little boat in the lake is a fun quirk to play with.

You can dine in at the lodge and the owner Kim will make some excellent foods for you.

There is free wifi and a stocked drinks fridge, tea coffee cakes etc available to you.

If you're looking at spending time in the area, I would recommend staying here.

My husband James and I got married at Saladin Lodge in April of this year, and everything about it was perfect! Kim is wonderful to work with, and she really goes the extra mile to make sure the day is exactly what you want. She also knows many of the local vendors in the area, which was great because she helped us organise a bus to pick up & drop off our guests at the nearby hotels as well as our cake. Kim is a wonderful cook, and she put together a beautiful menu for our cocktail style reception. All the guests raved about the food! The venue itself is gorgeous, and the hire fee includes 2 rooms at the lodge for the bride & groom and guests. If you are looking for an amazing venue and amazing people for your wedding, make sure to give Kim a call!

Starts with the host Kim, who is nothing short of amazing, and what she has created has to be seen to be believed. Kim greets all with unbridled enthusiasm, the Accommodation is 5 Star, the Facilities and Grounds amazing. We are planning a return visit, best weekend away EVER

We stayed over for 2 days for our anniversary.... what an absolute treat to say the least 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Our room was so comfortable, the shower as the best ever. The view from our room with the roo’s was even better.
