Woodlands Rainforest Retreat was a fantastic stay, and the getaway from the usual hustle and bustle from city life was completely welcome!!!

The villas were perfect to stay in with ultimate luxury with lots of comfort, complete with local wine, nice welcome perfume, candles, rose petal on the bed in the shape of a love heart which were especially suitable for long-term romantic stays. The villas being surrounded by the native flora provides adequate beauty and much needed privacy!!! The freindly visits from the local fauna too were very interesting!

We had a such a great time, and we can't wait to come back and stay.

We stayed at woodlands rainforest retreat for our anniversary and it was everything we'd hoped for! The cottage is nestled in a forest and felt serene, clean and quiet. On our arrival we found the cottage lit with candles, a surprise bottle of wine, a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a generous breakfast hamper that lasted us the whole weekend. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

Woodlands Rainforest Retreat is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of nature. Our stay was an unforgettable experience, offering the perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. The lush surroundings and impeccable service truly make it a paradise for relaxation.

What an amazing and unique romantic getaway. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable time in the gorgeous resort. The rooms are so quaint and incredibly private and perfect for a few days of privacy and bliss. The open fire was perfect and the hot tub gorgeous. Everything was just what we needed. Can't wait to return.

Wow! My husband and I spent our honeymoon here recently and it was more than we expected. The cabin was secluded, ensuring privacy and intimacy. A full kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom and lounge room. A short trip to Marysville 15 min and Healsville 23min.

The bridge was flooded at the property so we didn't explore it much, however we explored the surrounding areas such as Lake Mountain, Yarra Ranges National Park, Maroondah Reservoir and local restaurants and cafe's.

Woodlands Rainforest Retreat is our dream home away from home.

Been here for couple of days and everything was of lovely, clean and well maintained. Reception staff made our trip most memorable. Excited to visit again in the future. Thanks heaps.

This was a very special getaway. In one of the most picturesque locations. Love the use of the bikes and the on set private gym.

We had a fantastic 2 day stay in this place and we are definitely coming back.

We stayed at Gully View, and when we came there are staples ready on the table, milk and yogurt, coffee and the kitchenette has all I needed for cooking. The bbq at the balcony was really great as well.

Just a quick note to those who are planning to stay here for more than two days make sure you do your groceries at coles from Healesville which is a 20min drive before you go up the Woodlands.

Over all my husband and 2 boys had a relaxing vacation and its amazing how this place made us reconnected with nature.

Our stay at woodlands rainforest retreat was incredible. It feels like you are in a whole new world. Nestled in the rainforest you are offered with an ambundance of nature, lush greenery and most of all privacy for the perfect romantic getaway. By far one of our favorite accommodations we have ever stayed at. The sunken spa bath is definitely a highlight with its magical views of the forest. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hidden gem tucked away in the forest. Thank you for the amazing stay woodlands.

Arrived at reception, was greeted by Gary, one of the most friendly greetings we've ever received.

Got to our cottage, found everything that we might possibly need if we wanted to go for a walk in the forest waiting for us at the door, mountain bikes, umbrellas, walking boots, you name it.

Open the door and found ourselves in paradise. Room was absolutely beautiful, everything we requested on our booking was there, not even a tiny detail got left out. The fireplace was all prepped and all we had to do was light a match.
And the food!! Oh my goodness...when I Gary told me the BBQ pallet was "a lot of food" i thought to myself "yeh yeh, just the usual sales talk, still need to bring some food myself". Let's just say we couldn't finish our BBQ dinner and was still going at breakfast.

This is probably the only place we've been to where we only looked at our phones once. It was so relaxing and welcoming and had everything you could imagine that you simply won't even think about what's happening on all the socials.

Spent 5 days here for my 25th wedding anniversary.
We got the luxury package with extras & every bit of our experience was definitely luxurious & worth every cent.
New owners Gary & Peter were the perfect hosts.
Amazing, serene cabin with the most awesome deep spa.
Wallabies, Rosellas, Kookaburras & other wildlife. Rosellas are very tame to which they come up to your hand.
Whole experience rated 100%. Had the best week.

I would like to share my awesome experience with this resort. This is my second visit and must say this is a very pleasant place with great sceneries.

I recommend everyone to visit this place.

Just an amazing relaxing and peaceful place to stay. The big spa was a real winner and of course we met some new friends - Kookaburra's and Rosella's. The local pub is only 1 km away and the meal there was just fantastic. If you need a couple of days away to recharge or get away from the rat race this is the place to go.
It is only 1 hours drive from Greensborough via Yarra Glen.

The place was amazing. It was so beautiful and all of the staff there were amazing and welcoming helping out with anything we needed. I would strongly recomend this place for a little get away and only 65km from Melbourne. I would definetly return.

Sensational. Best getaway ever. Self contained cabins are so cozy and beautifully appointed. We will definitely go back.

Perfectly hidden sanctuary. Lovely hosts. Get back to nature. Not too far down the hill to town and all the amenities you could ask for in the cabins.
