Practically out of bread when I got there, but purchased a rye. Really friendly staff. Nice hot coffee & chose a wallaby & potato pie

The staff were super warm and friendly. A welcome in out of the 5degree winter! The wallaby pies were world class with a herby game aroma and potato in the pie for a good hearty winter warmer :)

A true gem. This place has lovely staff to start with. Great atmosphere too.

Then there is the food! Great pies, quiches, and other savoury goods. They also have great treats, like Portuguese tarts.

During Christmas they make the hands down, trample your grandmother just to get to one, fruit mince pies.... you won’t ever find one as good as they make here.

The coffee is also great, and co distant. You’ll always get a fantastic coffee.

Bread varierty looks so amazing too. and half of the shelf were already sold out.

The reviewer above me clearly was having a bad day/life. Service and attitude to us, their customers was 100%. Prices normally are fine BUT being the last day of the summer season everything was 50%.
The relaxed atmosphere and great service is infectious. Keep it up.

Cam and his team ate doing such a great job. To bake all their product in a wood fires oven isn’t easy and they beautifully execute it. Not only that, you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the fact that everything is homemade. Hands down to that.
Would come back anytime.
Pies favourite was the chicken.

Really nice quality pastries and sausage rolls. Price is on the higher end for a country town. In from Sydney and the prices are comparable to what you'd expect to pay in a trendy Paddington or darlinghurst Cafe. But quality is right up there

The Pork and Cabbage Pie could be a reason to move to Cygnet on its own . Beetroot chutney and salad tops it off .

One of the best bakeries in southern Tasmania. Their products are great value with that Artisan style/flavour to their food. Staff are very polite and helpful.

Dropped in for a coffee and discovered the most wonderful selection of breads and pastries. Wood fired bread was amazing and had the best carrot cake I've ever had.

Quite possibly the best cafe tucker in Tasmania. One would need to travel to Salamanca or North Hobart to find a comparable menu in terms of sheer quality.

Oh my! Did I die and go to heaven? Such a wonderful selection of hot food especially non meat and don’t get me started on the cakes.
Are there tours that only go here?
I’d give it more stars if I could.

The best bread in Tasmania, possibly the world! Everything baked and served with love. The only bakery worth visiting in Cygnet. Highly recommended - you'll love it.

A great stop on our way to Bruny! One of the most delicious pies I've had in Tassie and an amazing wood fired oven out the front.

Beef pie and pork fennel sausage rolls were the bomb. Lots of gluten free cakes on offer. Makes it hard to choose 😂
