Wonderful tasting experience! The ciders were all great and the customer service was exceptional. Walked away with a bottle of the Quince and a pack of the Blueberry. I’ll definitely be back!

A great Tassie cider brand. Lovely customer service. I recommend visiting and sampling their ciders.

My partner and I had our engagement party at Pagan Cider over the weekend, in their cosy little barn that is available to hire for events.

I would highly recommend it for something intimate and casual in a place that already comes set up ready for photo opportunities. We chose to bring along some basic decorations, but you certainly wouldn’t need to do that because the space is already so lovely and welcoming.

Shout out to Amber in particular, who made the process of booking and coordination so easy that we felt as though we must have been missing something (we weren’t). Amber helped us with suggestions for local musicians and caterers. She was there through the day and seemed to genuinely enjoy her work and the product. Her communication was fantastic. The team were available but unobtrusive.

The cider here is an established Tasmanian brand that is popular for very good reason – something to suit just about every palate from sweet to tart, very sessionable. Makes use of regional fruits that the Huon Valley is known for. Definitely on the more approachable end of the scale (albeit at 8% ABV). Their cellar door operated through the day without interruption to us.

My only suggestion is to make sure you book a driver. We hired Tassie Tours to do bus trips from the city, and this ended up being very much needed and an experience in itself. The day was so fun that the poor guy’s ears were probably ringing for a while after drop-off. As we all know, transport is challenging in the regions, and having that covered allowed us all to make the most of what was on offer at the bar.

Thanks again to the Pagan Team, all credit to you and we will definitely be back.

Must-see if you're a cider lover! The Quince cider was a banger! Ian who was working the Cellar Door when we were in was awesome! They also do interstate freight, so you can get the amount you really want without worrying about lugging it all home!

Had the absolute best tasting experience here today. $5 each for a complete tasting of all their ciders. We were guided through the tasting and experienced some really unique ciders. The owner was incredible and even suggested some more places for us to check out whilst we were on our Tasmanian exploration!

Hardest part of the entire experience was choosing what bottles we were going to buy!

We had a wonderful experience cider tasting today. We were met with professional, friendly staff. We loved the ciders and bought some to send home to Queensland. We really enjoyed the Apricot and Cherry special ciders.

We had a really pleasant and friendly tasting experience at Pagan Cider! There was such a range of interesting flavours and the person who served us (I wish I grabbed her name) was so knowledgable! We ended up getting a bottle of the Peach Cider which we can’t wait to get into on a summer’s day. :)

We had a really lovely time @ Pagan’s cider. We tried the tasting paddle ($10 for four ciders). All absolutely delicious it was hard to choose bottles to takeaway (which you will absolutely want to do) after trying them.

Thanks guys.

Absolutely love Pagan cider. Have had it both on tap in Hobart and bottled in Sydney. Should be on tap everywhere! Every flavour is outstanding. We just ordered a case online for Christmas.

The ciders tasted fresh and fruity, love that it's made without lots of additives! Decently priced, and informative!

No food though, so eat elsewhere first (or after) but the cider is well worth the visit!!

Beautiful venue with great staff. We bought several bottles of those great liquid refreshments, and quince cider is wonderful. Sadly it was the wrong season for the Cherry Juice, but we are waiting for change of season! Pagan Cider sent 4 large boxes of goods to different addresses for us, in NSW and Queensland, and despite Covid-22 , floods, storms, and hopeless politicians, all 4 arrived safely. Thank you, and especially to Mick Dubois for keeping us updated on the deliveries.

Best apple cider I have ever tasted. Not too sweet and not too sour. Just very crisp and fresh. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. Our host was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tasting was free and my only regrets was that we didn't buy more.

Lovely cider tasting from a large amount of options. Some are easy to drink and some warm you up on a cold day. Lovely to sit outside in the sun, with a cold glass of cider. Great fun way to spend a hour or so, or an afternoon if not driving!

Best tasting session I've ever been to. The fella that hosted us obviously enjoys his job it shows in his friendly and knowledgable approach to cider tasting! The cider is top shelf too, you won't want to drink any other! Also, thanks for being so child friendly, we had a great little visit 😀
