Farah's IGA Cygnet

No matter the time of day each experience is a fun one. Very helpful and friendly. As a regular I'm greeted by first name. They don't always have everything I need but try to get it if I ask. Never had a bad experience in the 5 years I've been going there. Highly recommend.

We popped in here for a few odds & ends and $150 & 30 minutes later came out with a couple of new best friends - Mrs Farah & son George. Brilliant range of goods and such helpful service. As we're wandering around George bellows "anyone need help finding anything?" Yes says I, Marmalade "Aisle 4" he shouts it was such a great store!

Jack young is the best worker I’ve ever seen at that IGA he is truly fantastic. Deserves a raise tbh. Have a nice day!

A family owned business that really cares about the community. After Tasmania opened up my partner and I had to go into isolation because she is immunocompromised. George was unfailingly helpful, taking our weekly order to the back of the shop so I could pick it up and maintain our isolation. Everyone I know has a positive story of this kind about the family that runs the store. We are very lucky to have them.

Always friendly and always got what you need.

Fantastic convenience store in the lovely town of Cygnet.
Well set out, plenty of produce and stock on offer.
Very tidy and well presented.
Friendly staff and great service.
Prices aren't even as scary as you would generally expect in a convenience store in a small town.
We have a boat at the yacht club and regularly need supplies for a tiki tour lunch and can always fine some beautiful locally made products to throw on the BBQ.
Definitely recommend to anyone looking for supplies and a chat with some really friendly people.

Only supermarket in Cygnet. Family run business. Friendly, efficient staff. Good product range. Local business. Better than driving to Huonville to support Woolworths.

Nice friendly shop with plenty of fresh veg and excellent selection of breads. The fruit loaf is like cake but more tasty! Have another slice, it's full of fibre and possibly good for you!!! Not cheap, however, nothing good ever is...

An excellent local IGA with a huge range of stock for a small town. The area is a foodies delight and this store reflects this. Much better than the larger supermarkets in Huonville nearby. They stock large range of local produce. Helpful friendly staff will take you to the aisles if you need help. Stock up if you're visiting the area.

Super friendly family that run the IGA. Have been in there many times and gotten deals when things are being reduced and you can always have a chat with the family too. Very friendly and welcoming! Prices are what you'd expect from a small village shop! Fantastic place

George and the family at IGA Cygnet are amazing. The friendliest people you will ever meet, and to top it off, they have an awesome range. Never left looking for something, and yet to not find what we need. They stock local as much as they can as well. Everything is fresh, and all reasonable prices.

If you can't find it, they can even sometimes get it in.

This place is made even more amazing by the lovely family who run it. Always interesting food finds along with great everyday groceries. It must take a lot of work to run a place this awesome!
