My dental experience with Dr Daniel Hu has been excellent. I had to get several fillings after avoiding the dentist for a while. Daniel made the whole process comfortable and makes an effort to have a chat which is great.

Every visit to this practice so far has been an exceptional experience. Dr. Daniel is a fantastic dentist. He is extremely thorough and skillful, as well as being kind, friendly and patient. The front desk staff are always very helpful and have been able to organise appointments for me at late notice when needed. I highly recommend Dr Daniel and the team!

I have been going to this practice close to 30 years and today I had Thomas, who is relatively new there. He, like the other two dentists has a calm manner putting you at ease. If you have a fear of dentists or you have children, I would not hesitate to go see Thomas or his colleagues.

Dr Rui Gao is an exceptional dentist. Aside from being technically brilliant, I think what sets her apart from many other medical practitioners is her ability to communicate effectively - clearly, concisely and friendly. I always feel well-informed after visiting Dr Gao. I have also recently taken my 3 year old to Dr Gao so he becomes familiar with the dental environment and Dr Gao was absolutely fabulous with him. I had an absolutely fantastic experience here. Some rework was required after a recent filling was causing me some issues. I was seen to with empathy and haste, to correct the filling and remove the pain.

Rui (pronounced ‘Ree’) deserves all of these five star ratings! I left a dentist on Wickham Terrace in the city and went to her for a teeth clean. Rui picked up on a problem, x-raying my teeth, and that resulted in me having to have teeth pulled out because they were too far gone to save. From there, she has been nothing but supportive – even calling me at home to help me decide what to do next and offer me advice!! And I was only a brand-new patient. To say she goes above and beyond would be an understatement. She arranged for two plates to be made for me to ‘practice’ what they felt like before I spent thousands on the real things. And then handed them to me and didn’t charge me.. if you want an empathetic, kind- hearted, gentle, understanding dentist, who is a good communicator, and knows her stuff – you will not go past Rui. I’ve been looking for a dental clinic since we moved to Brisbane that embraced innovations in dental advancements, and these guys are great! I saw Dr Daniel Hu, who was so friendly and gentle. Instead of cleaning with the ultrasonic scaler most dentists use, he used EMS airflow when I mentioned I have sensitive teeth, and I didn’t feel a thing! Brilliant. I also had to get a minor cavity cleaned and filled, and there was the option of laser or the drill, but because so minor we went the drill and I could have gone with local numbing but because Daniel was so gentle I didn’t need it.

My first visit to this surgery was in 2003 when it was Gary Johnson Dental in the old Myer complex in Coorparoo. The service here has always been first class

In all those years not once have I had to wait even a minute passed my scheduled appointment time..
My technician Rui and her assistant Haley are absolute fabulous.
They both always make me feel comfortable, confident and relaxed in their care,
Guess thats why, still to this day, I make the 7 hour round trip from my home to Brisbane twice a year.

I highly recommend Dr Daniel Hu if you suffer from dental anxiety. He listened to my concerns and genuinely cared for my welfare, and went over and above to help me feel at ease. And the receptionist was lovely too. This was a lucky find I must say.

Rui Gao is excellent, professional and kind. She is my Dentist for so many years and she is a very good dentist. I can highly recommend to anyone who is looking for regular dentist in Coorparoo. They are very friendly, helpful and very professional dentists and Staff support. They really look after their patients.

I have been going to Rui for many years, and consider her to be THE BEST dentist I have ever been to. She is caring, and takes the time to explain what is required, and makes you feel at ease. Would highly recommend everyone to go to Rui. She would be wonderful with children also.

I highly recommed Dr Rui. She is straight to the point, thorough but most of all very compassionate. I think I may be the biggest sook on the planet but with Dr Rui I am getting through all the work I need to get done and there is quite a bit of work to do due to my absolute fear of needles.
Also compared to my partners dentist the costing is very reasonable!
I just can't recommend Dr. Rui enough.

Dr Rui Gao is simply amazing, she is by far the best dentist I have ever been to and is the sole reason I have confidence is frequenting the dentist again (I have a needle phobia and dislike'd' dentists and had put off seeing a dentist for almost 15 years until visiting Rui).. The technique she uses to administer the anaesthetic makes it almost as if you're not having a needle at all.. then the teeth work afterwards is even better.. simply amazing. I cannot recommend her highly enough, her ability as a dentist is unquestionable and on top of that she is very friendly, understanding, humble and considerate .. a very rare find!

My doctor has been doing my check ups for a long time and I appreciate the over all polite attitude the staff has. I enjoy going to this dentist and I trust them fully with my dental work.

I've had 5 dental consultations (including 2 cerns and sensed she really cared. Most dentist want to automatically jump to a root canal but Dr. Rui was willing to try a less invasive treatment. Ive also had 2 friends who also were told to either pull a tooth and to get a root canal but Dr. Rui was able to do the least invasive procedure. The laser cleansing is absolutely revolutionary. y only concern is that is that her popularity will increase and I won't get a spot easily.

Fantastic service, a dentist you can trust, explains issues clearly and gives options. Highly recommended!!!
