This place is HANDS down the best camping site in the southwest👍👍👍 amazing. For Full Site list & info keep reading..

No bookings, have a back up plan incase full.
Fees are paid in a money box ranger checks 1 to 2 times a day $8per night per adult, price does change every so often.

10 to 12 sites.
Fire pits supplied.
tables in most sites.
Low trees so no big 4wd campervans.
Small camper trailer can fit in some sites but not much room to maneuver around.
More suited to tents and swags, roof top tent in some sites would be fine.
Drop toilet, make sure you bring your own toilet paper.
No water, bring all you need.
Firewood supplied in cooler months, but do bring a bag just in case as it's against the law
to collect from the Bush here.

Remember you are in the middle of the Bush you start a fire and It gets out of hand you are trapped!!! Only safety is to head out to the west and go for the beach and go out to the open on the rocks (be watchful of waves though), there is a big sign at the pay box warning people of fire danger.

Possums everywhere so keep your food locked up and do not feed them!!! Look but dont touch or feed!!!.

4wd only
East end entry is sometimes washed out with big holes etc, west entry is normally very easy but sharp limestone coastal rocks so watch your tyres and as you get into the camp from the west end it has a big wash out so don't drive to much to one side or you will tip over if that unlucky haha🤷‍♂ otherwise this is just an amazing place and can easily spend 2 weeks here.

Remember keep it clean and green take your rubbish and only leave foot prints as the saying goes 👍

The price to stay is $8.00 to stay each adult.
The place is filled with about 10 to 12 camping sites with a fire pit and a fire wood pile down by the toilet entrance. Toilets are drop arrr toilets, what I like to call them! It's an amazing place for a quick camp and definitely better in my eyes than conto. Conto is for pretty much any vehicle. But this place is more for a higher up clearance vehicle as the entrance is full of rocks and obstacles. I own a nice lux that can clear all this.

Fantastic little secluded camp ground. Wide open spaces with fire pits, picnic benches and long drop toilet. No waste bins but Contos campground has facilities to dispose of rubbish which is not far away. Access via Contos road is relatively easy with a Rav4 able to manage, although high clearance is recommended as we did scrap on a number of locations. Just be aware that possums will be out in force after food scraps.

Such a hidden gem behind contos.4wd only add you need clearance to get past the limestone. Nestled amongst the trees it doesn't feel like you are only 10km from Margaret River

Great spot, paid $11/adult. Right in the middle of the forest and you can here the waves from the beach! Beach is a fair walk away though. Recommended!😁

Looks from behind the tape to be a nice secluded little campground with about half a dozen sites. At the moment you cannot camp in there due to clean up from the fires not being done yet. There is multiple places around to stay such as conto campgrounds jarahdene campgrounds, and boranup campgrounds. Please do not camp in point road campgrounds until clean up is done as you will wear a $100 fine and be kicked out.

Went there on Saturday with the intention of camping for the night. Drove in off Caves Rd and found it was all taped off and super overgrown. Rangers obviously haven't done a thing to it after the fires. There was no sign saying it was closed on the way we came in and it is still listed on dpaw website with camping fees but it was clear its not suitable. We drove out to Contos Rd and there was a sign at that end saying closed. We ended up staying at Contos campground which was lovely
