We hired the ski set and wheel chairs from here. Unfortunately, the wheel chair was broken due to the icy road condition at the top of mountain. It could cost is $250 to get a taxi to deliver the chair to mountain. Thank you for Eliza's concern. We managed to get down the mountain with only one chair. We highly recommend to have an emergency chairs for the customers as it is very expensive to get replacement to be delivered from Mt Beauty to Falls Creek.

HIRE HERE!! As a newbie to the snow, it felt so comforting coming into this place. Especially with young children, it can be very overwhelming when you are a first timer. Staff were beyond excellent, very accommodating when our crew had issues with boots and wishing to exchange from snowboards to skis. Cannot thank them enough for pleasant communication, ensuring we had what we needed, and were very professional in every manner. 10/5 !!

As a beginner I was seriously nervous about hiring gear but Alissa and her team were so helpful and friendly, the experience was easy, everything from getting up the mountain safely to the best Brewery in town, this is your one stop shop!!

Friendly staff and excellent work from Liz! She was extremely kind, patient, hardworking and she even stayed longer to help us with the snow chains even when we came in late. Will definitely come back to this shop and see her again :)

After hiring from this family run business for a couple of weeks last year when we managed to come up before a lockdown, the staff were very accommodating for me as a relatively new snowboarder. Very good recommendations towards what would suit my skill levels and a great range of hire equipment for an affordable price.

After I had issues with my feet, I visited the shops on multiple occasions to try different boots per day. The staff were able to identify that my feet had a certain shape and DC boots would probably work the best for me, so I was able to hire an ex demo pair. I found they worked well, and upon informing the staff they told me that there was a sale on DC boots, to which I was expertly fitted and was given a great deal on the boots. A year later and these boots have vastly improved my snowboarding ability and experience.

Upon hiring again this year I was given a brand new board and bindings, for the intermediate level, to which was an excellent board to use.

I would recommend this shop to everybody!

Our car got 2 flat tyres because of several pot holes coming down from Falls creek. Ellis at Skiplus and her husband offered us so much help that we can never imagine!!! Even before they know we were a customer. They are so so so kind and great people!!!

Hired a demo snowboard and bindings, and some other snow gear (baby snowsuit and some snow pants). Very friendly and helpful staff. Went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Small but good selection of snow apparel and accessories available to buy. Can definitely recommend.

Had a great experience with Luke who was very helpful and went above & beyond in trying to get my snowboard binding fixed even though I didn't purchase them from their shop. Excellent customer service and will definitely be the first place I drop into it for my snowboard needs.

This is a really late review! BUT we wanted to give a huge shout out to the team and the staff at Skiplus. e had a huge group go up to the snow in 2022 with 16 of us needing to hire gear and get our snow chains for 5 cars. They were so responsive and helped us out by arrange our boards and ski gear when we arrived. We did have to email them before but they were so lovely to work with and catered to our needs. With such a big group, they were so patient with us and definitely made them work hard haha

So a huge thanks again and we hope to see you all soon for the next snow season 😊🙌🏼

We researched the best ski hire shops before we arrived & the reviews weren’t great for the other shops but this one is the go!!! Me & my partner went to hire gear for the first time & they were really busy! But the team were so good at balancing the pressure while maintaining some of the best customer service I have seen in years! Great team that are experts in what they do and are super friendly & are able to have there own personalities at work which was nice to see! The gear was brand name, fashionable & fit perfectly! The shop is really cozy and really well done, feels like ur in a Canadian shop! The owner is the blonde lady & she’s definitely the leader in there but she’s deceptively kind, really friendly & able to take on stupid questions from beginners like us! Friendly customer service is hard to find these days so my visit was really enjoyable!!!! Recommend

Hired our gear here last year (when we could) and had a fantastic experience, so just had to come back. Everything was well fitted to our needs and at such a great price. Love supporting a family owned business, especially after everything they must have gone through in the last 2 years.

Wow! Service plus! Went above and beyond with helping us out. The lady that got our order had a smile on face even at the busiest of time (Sorry didn't get your name, but I'm sure you'll recognise my surname). We dropped the gear back today, and she made conversation with our two boys about their experience. The boys at the back were fantastic too.

Booked online. Straightforward and easy. About half the price of hiring up the mountain itself. Gear was new, looked well maintained and was ready to go when I arrived so not losing precious ski time. Staff friendly and wide selection of goods for hire/sale. Convenient location and opening hours.

Ordered complete ski package and jacket and pants rental online for a day. Able to pick-up night before. Busy but good service. For rentals to make a quicker easier process, fill out all optional details on the form and the fitting at pickup will be a bit quicker and smoother. Great price.

Excellent experience. Easy online booking, great rates and quality equipment. Staff in store when collecting/returning gear were awesome. Would definitely recommend and use again.
