BOH Dental

Having recently moved to Brisbane, I did not have a dentist but when one of my teeth broke I had to find one really quickly! I found BOH online and was able to make an appointment quickly.

The reception staff are all friendly, helpful and professional. My dentist was also really nice and caring and she explained everything to me as she went along and made sure I was as comfortable as possible.

I'm VERY happy with my experience and would recommend BOH to absolutely anyone.

I usually don´t write ratings but I have to do it here because I´m so impressed by the way this practice treated me. I had an emergency root canal treatment done. Normally, I´m very careful with dentists and I do not trust easily, especially not with such heavy-duty treatments. But it was an emergency. I moved to Brisbane just recently and didn´t know anybody, let alone a dentist. So, I relied on the google ratings and my gut feeling and chose BOH. It was the best decision ever. I got an appointment straight away on the same day I called and the team was really nice. Dr. Salvati did a fantastic job: she listed to my story, took good care and did the surgery without any pain. I was really impressed. They called the next day to see if I was doing ok. Wow. Today, I had the second out of three appointments and again it was a really good experience. Dr Davies, more experienced in root canal cleansing, did an intensive cleaning but again, no pain and no suffering. I´d like to call it amazing, but hey, it is still a root canal treatment. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this practice as I feel really good taken care of.

I was up from Victoria for Christmas and started having trouble with a tooth, so I looked around for a holistic dentist that could see me at short notice (although I wasn't holding my breath), and the lovely, helpful lady at reception managed to squeeze me in within the hour to see Dr David Tuffley. Right from the start, Mr Tuffley made sure he took the time to answer my questions thoroughly and, despite my terrible directions, managed to diagnose the problem, which was something other than what I had directed him towards. I was so very impressed and grateful with just how gentle he and his assistant were. Real emphasis was placed on making sure I was comfortable, and this experience was noticeably less stressful than any other dental visit I've had. He didn't do any excessive digging, prodding or scratching, but rather, used less invasive techniques to determine what was going on. What I was most impressed with, however, was the skill with which he rebuilt, essentially, my entire molar. It looks and feels like a tooth for the first time in many years, and I'm still running my tongue over it in disbelief. Thank you Mr Tuffley and the team at BOH Dental. My only regret is that I don't live in Brisbane, so I can't come back for all of my dental needs.

I wanted to share a great 1st experience with BOH Dental. From the online booking system, booking confirmation, the location, the office staff pre-populating a form for me to sign to release my records from my previous Dentist and Angela the Dentist's thorough explanation and education of my dental status, it was a thoroughly professional and authentic experience. I have only recently moved to Brisbane, so it is comforting to find a Dentist that I a can attain continuity with. Thank You BOH Dental.

I am so glad I decided to book a visit with Dr Tuffley following the suggestions of other users, being a foreigner with an emergency to deal with and with no local contacts. Quick, professional, patient, new and nice looking studio. Nice plus: notes by the doctor and x-rays sent by email, so I can share them with my dentist when I'll be back home. Reasonable costs.

Had my first consultation with Dr David Tuffley today and couldn't have been more impressed! The lovely reception team made me feel comfortable and Dr Tuffley talked me through the process step by step and was so lovely. It was such a great experience!

I was rude to Dr Greer after he was unable to ethically approve a procedure that another dentist required his approval for in order to perform on me. I refused to shake his hand and told him to send me the invoice. After receiving the invoice, I am now even more ashamed of my actions as Dr Greer waived the entire hour long consultation.

During the consultation he was polite and took the time to explain everything to me in detail, even if it wasn't the result I wanted to hear. If you want to hear the truth and get an expert's opinion that hinges on the right result then Dr Greer is the one to book with.

Prior to going to Dr Tuffley I used to suffer from severe anxiety whenever I visited a dentist. This stemmed back to bad childhood experiences and from not being genetic blessed with good teeth. I have had a life time of "drills and fillings" which always made visiting the dentist a harrowing experience. When we moved to Brisbane I dreaded the thought of going to yet another dentist but was recommended to see Dr Tuffley. At my first appointment Dr Tuffley spent the time listening to me about my fears and suggested I wear his Bose head phones and listen to music from his ipod. I couldn't believe how much this helped alleviate my anxiety! Such a simple suggestion to block out external noises meant I could lie back and listen to music whilst work was being done without hearing what was going on. I have never felt any pain or discomfort so I can now say I actually look forward to going to the dentist as I know I have 30 mins downtime and I walk out with lovely clean teeth!.

Fantastic service, and a wonderful dental practice, so conveniently located in the city. So sad it will be closing down tomorrow. Thank you so much to Annabel and the team at BOH.

I've only been here twice and its been a great experience both times. Dr Pu and Dr Deluchi were both very understanding, helpful and explained everything thoroughly. Seems like they have a good culture and professionalism in their practice.

All the staff are brilliant and caring. Dr David Ashton is a genius. Completely worth the regional airfares to get my serious and tricky teeth issues sorted. Thanks for everything, David.

The team at BOH dental is as good as it gets. The place is professional right the way through from the girls at the front desk to the head dentist of the practice. My whole family goes there and several of my friends also use this practice. I would highly recommed BOH to anyone.

One of the best dentists I have been to. Amazing service from booking, through to procedure. Highly professional and accommodating with a friendly and personal touch. Look forward to revisiting.

Dr David Tuffley was very thorough and made the entire process painless and kept me well informed. I highly recommend this dentist.

These guys were able to see and treat me when almost all other surrounding dentists had no compassion for my unique difficult situation.i would highly recommend these guys if you want to know you are cared for.
