Stockmans Motel

Great location just 10 to 15 min south of Tamworth. Very clean, big rooms, well organised, not expensive.
Has an Italian restaurant chain, Papa Luigi, on site. There are other restaurants on the highway, especially a good Chinese place about 5 min back, so there's a choice.

A bit out of town but absolutely worth it the room was clean and the photos as described. The staff at reception we very helpful and welcoming and the restaurant in the vicinity was fantastic I highly recommend both.

Lovely room, had a king spa room, spacious and comfy..big tv. Set back so it's nice and quiet too. And great dinner at the Italian restaurant on site. Very yummy..

Great location, just south of Tamworth. Very clean, neat, and tidy. Just far enough from the highway to get away from the noise but close enough to get to Tamworth. Pricing is very competitive considering the time of year. TCMF is not too far away. Have their own restaurant. Would highly recommend to any visitors.

Excellent service friendly. Catered to our needs. The pizza was excellent and tasted so yummy.

This is a very nice motel. I stayed in 2 different rooms. Room 5 had a king size bed, a massive TV, a large bath tub and nicely laid out with plenty of room. No cooking facilities but does have a small fridge, microwave, jug and toaster. The large Italian restaurant is on-site and has a good selection of food. Prices are reasonable. Service was great. I would stay here again. You might pay a little extra to stay here but it's worth it.

Close to town but far enough away to be a little more quiet. Good restaurant. Great shower. Lovely and clean and fresh.

Have stayed here many times before. Is my first choice when I visit the area. Love that it's located out of town away from everyone.

Excellent service at the front desk, the receptionist was very busy but attended to my room booking with a well seasoned professional manner. Room was new excellent amenities well presented and very clean. Restaurant, Carmen's on site, large nice decor with a great menu. Highly recommend a stay!

A bit far out of the way,but excellent if you are travelling with horses as they have stables available. Our room was a bit small but can't complain about it otherwise. We ordered breakfast and it was absolutely lovely.

Good value, very clean and comfortable rooms. Aircon, WiFi, etc.. Really impressed with the service and cleanliness. They offer room service, have a great restaurant on site. Will stay here again!

A bit away from the town but really quiet, large rooms, fast check-in and check-out, pleasant staff, great food. Has a potential for really nice photos due to it's location, sunset and sunrise are really nice in the area.

Very happy with our decision to stop here on our way home to Qld.

Charming place - quiet and lovely country views. Felt fresh and new.

Clean bathroom, good shower head, comfortable bed.

Lovely pool and great that they had a playground for our toddler to run around in.

Prior to arriving, we did a quick drive around town to check out other options. The Stockman definitely stood out against the rest in appearance and price.

Would recommend stopping here.

Beautiful fresh clean rooms, pool was good, $199 room & dinner package was sublime 👌 our waitress was spot on with dinner suggestion as I couldn't make my mind up. Room had a couple of lights, not working, and no Tv instructions location too far out of town we enjoy walks, but this was way too far to enjoy town festivities although we did notice they had a bus not sure if it was for customer services.

Excellent in every respect. We will make it our regular stop between Gold Coast and Sydney. Great Italian restaurant too.

Stayed in the standard King room , room was great , with a huge tv and a great outlook on the back verandah, clean and big , attached restaurant also had great meal options …I have stayed in many hotels in Tamworth and will definitely now stay here every time I come to Tamworth for business, great value for money !!!

Travelling through, we had an overnight stop at the Stockman in an economy room. Great value for a well-appointed room with all the basic needs. Comfy bed, hot shower, modern decor, and wonderful service. We will definitely stay again if we are coming through Tamworth.

We were in town for a tournament.

It is a room with beds and minimal kitchen items.
For what it is, it is decent.
Beds were comfy, shower was pretty nifty with two types of shower heads!

Kettle, microwave with a few utensils and dinnerware, plus Air-conditioning.

Staff are friendly which is nice.

They have a laundry which is handy if you are up here for a few days - $5 a wash and $5 a dry.
We were here for a week so that was good for us.

Didn't get to try the restaurant, but Imahbe next time I might.

Also has a pool and a playground for kids!!
