Quality Inn Ashby House Tamworth

Lovely staff in the reception who were very friendly and helpful. Room was good - clean with a new air con, and quiet. I would happily stay here again.

Ashby house has such a lovely presentation from the front which helped us choose this accommodation for our 1 night stay. The other reason to choose ashby house was we wanted somewhere that had an in house restaurant which there was. Our room was very clean and adequate but what really got the stars is the the friendly staff and most importantly our meal at the restaurant that evening was the best we had in a very long time.
Well priced and a great selection and portion sizes.
Highly recommend.

Lovely people, great accommodation!
We stayed in the cottage and it was a very sweet house, perfect for our family. The ducted air conditioning was nice and kept us warm. Rooms were large and beds were comfortable. The cottage had some gorgeous period features and also a modern kitchen and bathroom.
The owners were helpful and kind and we would definitely stay here again.

First time I had been south of the River in Tamworth. Great motel that was clean and the rooms were quite large. The only issue was that it was a good solid 10min walk to Peel street

Modern, clean room. Wonderful staff with fantastic customer service. Pool area was clean and enjoyable. Great value for money and would absolutely return!

Stayed there 1 night, would definitely stay there again, excellent service, the owners go above & beyond they were most helpful and went out of their way to help us. Kitchen was closed for breakfast when we stayed but they still offered to make us breakfast if we needed it. Very clean modern rooms, comfortable beds. Building was full of character, we had dinner in the Restaurant, best steak we have had in a long time, meals were excellent. No complaints, will be back!

Great stay over the Easter long weekend.

We came from Brisbane and were arriving late at night to stay in their cottage, so we called to let them know. The owners went out of their way to help us check-in smoothly over the phone and leave our keys in a lockbox—they even pre-heated the cottage for us so it wouldn’t be cold when we arrived and gave us two small milk bottles for tea or coffees!

Decent location, and a short walk across to the main drag in town—maybe a 10 minute walk.

Super comfy beds and you can’t hear a thing from room to room at night. Hardly any road noise too. The cottage had a big, modern kitchen and bathroom. Shower head was good—got very hot and good flow of water, so no complaints.

Internet was okay, a bit annoying having to re-login all the time but not a big deal in the scheme of things.

They’ve also got a TV in the living room with free-to-air channels and a DVD player.

We stayed there mid October, in the 2 bedroom cottage attached. Fantastic. large bedrooms very comfortable lounge and kitchen. Was a real pleasant surprise. The price was very reasonable. Will stay there again, absolutely recommend Quality Inn to anyone.

This was the first time in Tamworth so we didn't know what to expect. When first arriving at Ashby house the building itself looked great from the outside. On checking in we were greeted by a lovely gentleman, who not only asked were we had come from and how our day was but all while having a smile on his face. Something a lot of other places seem to have forgotten. He then continued to say, he had decided to upgrade us to a larger self contained room which was greatly appreciated and unexpected. The room was clean and tidy and there was certainly ample space for a family of four. What was noticed straight away was this room was simple but appealing. What they had used to furnish this room by going that extra little mile, made it a very comfortable stay. There's always one thing that a lot of accommodation places don't have and that is pressure within the shower. Ashby house is not one of these places, the shower pressure was wonderful and you could actually get the soap out your hair. Location seemed good, easy walk to town depending on what your choice of activities are.
If there was one thing i could pick on, it would be the toilet cistern needed to fill up a lot quicker then what it currently does.
All in all a great place to stay when visiting Tamworth. If were ever back in Tamworth, this will be our choice of stay.

We had a lovely stay, good location with easy access to town, but nice and quiet. Rooms were excellent, good quality throughout, nice bedding. Room service for breakfast, would happily stay there again.

Ashby house is a wonderful place to stay the staff are cool and the rooms where top notch. The WIFI was very quick with no cut outs and stuff. The driveway is a rollercoaster to drive on the kids will love it and parking as no issue with plenty of space.

Good size rooms, very clean, good water pressure and nice service. Parking is a little limited but good location and overall great stay.

Warm and friendly welcome on arrival and a great run down on things to see and do in the area. Alot of love put into this beautiful building by the owners. Very clean and comfortable and would definitely come back.

Lovely, friendly, helpful owners ! We only stayed one night unfortunately but it was a very clean, comfortable room! We'll definitely be back!
