Angie and all the Kryolan team went above and beyond for me. I booked a makeup application because I was off to see P!nk and the end result was so much better than I could've expected. Will definitely be a return customer

I just had an amazing experience and I thought it would be a good idea to share in case anyone in the future is looking for a makeup consult or learn how to use/apply makeup from someone with experience.

I just spent the best part of an hour and a half being treated like a queen by Alicia, consulted at every step as to what I was looking for. Foundation matching, how-to on eyeliner and shadow, basic layering of product, how-to's for contour and blush, and freedom to try different styles out to see how they look. I walked out of there a changed woman.

For those that might be self-conscious or need privacy, they can offer the consult in a private room. I personally had my consult in the main room, which was quiet for the most part with minimal interruption. The conversation with staff and a couple of customers was very friendly and inclusive all round.

While in Melbourne for a few days I booked myself in to learn how to do my make up. I’d say I’m a country girl who rarely uses it let alone knows how to apply. Not anymore! (Still a country girl :)) I was given numerous tips over the hours. I had the pleasure of being helped by Angie. She even wrote down detailed information for me on my makeup sheet and even left with (at my request with) some permanent marker notes on some products purchased. I highly recommend if you are like me and don’t have much makeup splurging on all the products used (they made me feel great). But if not they give you your makeup application cost back in products.

I went in the next day to show them how I applied it, they were genuinely impressed :) they also then gave me more information for my daughters makeup. I found always happy to help. The whole team. A joke on the way out was that I got a bit of advice from everyone. Which was true :).

I chose this experience from a Red Balloon voucher I received for a special birthday. I always have struggled to do my own makeup so I thought I would get a lesson. From the moment I walked in until the moment I walked out, I felt listened to, supported and special. I had a great time, got some fantastic products and have put to use the skills I learned. A highly recommended experience.

I had the pleasure of being made-up and also taught how to apply a more dramatic look by Alicia. Although I had a few hesitations towards going in under the eyes at 45 (results in the past haven't been great), she knew her stuff and did wonderfully, showing me how to do the same. As well as being very informative on everything she was using and doing, she was also just fantastic to talk to - a genuinely beautiful person with a kind heart - and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in her chair.

I had the pleasure of Stef helping me out today with selecting some products for stage performance! Previous i had no idea where to begin, Stef was so lovely & such a great help! Amazing customer service & now i cannot wait to start playing with my newly purchased goodies!

Stef is a wonderful staff member. She did an absolutely amazing job with my hair and makeup. I was thrilled that I could get everything done at the same place. The whole experience was super enjoyable. Thank you Stef, looking forward to my next appointment when I am back in Melbourne! Xxx

I recently had my hair and make up done by Steph for a special occasion. I rang the shop a few weeks prior to ask if it would be possible on my selected day and time, and the staff were very kind and considerate to my personal mobility needs. Steph came to my Apartment at the Rydges Melbourne, so only around the corner but still went out of their way to make that happen for me which I appreciate immensely. I had individual lashes done, blow wave and make up. Steph did a great job and was really warm and friendly. Thanks again Steph, I appreciate you coming to me.

I had a personal skills lesson with Stefania. Initially, I was nervous since I had no experience with makeup. However, she patiently showed and explained each step of the process and was very encouraging when I tried to apply it myself.

Spent time in store today buying supplies - Alicia the sales assistant was divine and super helpful!!!

Stefania did a brilliant job at serving customers on a busy day, answering the phone, training a staff member and also making me feel welcome and sharing such valuable knowledge with my specialist makeup appointment. Super happy with my experience here and will definitely be coming back soon!!

I went in today not expecting much but was the best blessing !!
I've had a large hyperpigmentation rash on my chest which I've tried everything to cover up including surgery. I could never feel comfortable wearing low cut tops and feared wearing white.
I believe the staffs name was Stephanie and she did an absolute amazing job!!! I felt comfortable and she found a perfect shade match for me. I can now feel comfortable wearing low cut tops without the fear of getting makeup everywhere !!
