The Deck Airlie Beach

Nice restaurant within options of food. We rocked up without a booking and sat outside, only if they can have some sort of fans outside it will be fantastic.

Food took a long time to come out, however it's dinner time and the restaurant is fully booked so it's quite understandable. The drinks came out fast which helps with the heats.

The waitresses are very friendly and great service.

We only got a starter to share and a drink but really enjoyed it! The flatbread was delicious and the service was great quality. We had a nice view by the river also. Would love to go back and try more food

We've been here for dinner, the place looks good, i had sea food fetuccini-it was perfect ❤, my husband had pizza with lamb meat, he liked it as well. We were satisfied 😊

best restaurant for a rainy day. was perfect with rainy dam view and cool breezes. they maintained a breezy atmosphere, sometimes raising and lowering the awning. thanks for being one of the highlights of our trip.

Nice airy space, didn't try the food but had a few drinks and a very nice cocktail (on special between 3 & 5 pm) as well, the staff were exceptionally friendly

We love this place so much we came back for breakfast twice in a row! Amazing coffee! Amazing food and great service! What more could you ask for!!! The first day my hubby has the special which was mushrooms and goats cheese and long black, I had a latte and Benny burger. Both meals and coffee were fantastic. Great atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. I'd recommend getting in early or booking a table as the second day we went we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table which was fine as we just went for a walk along the beach and they called us when our table was ready. No complaints at all and will definitely be returning!

Great place for breakfast, nice breeze off the water. Extremely friendly staff. Food was the best I've had in a very long time. Never had eggs this good, at any restaurant I've been to in years. I had the Chilli Sambal eggs, and they were perfectly cooked to our request, and the flavour and spices were spot on. 100% my place for breakfast in Airlie Beach. If I had to give it a negative, the wait time was a little longer than expected, but definitely worth it for the food we had.
Coffee and hot chocolate, also really nice. Highly recommend The Deck.

We’ve visited the Deck Cafe Airlie @thedeckairlie a few times now, because we love the coffee, for they use @st_ali beans. We also had a great breakfast; their sambal scramble. It was a huge plate of food; mixed with chorizo and nicely seasoned with the sambal. Served on sourdough toast. It’s found right by the esplanade on Airlie Beach. It’s pricy but no different to most places here

I love this place, everything about it just ticks all my boxes. Just recently had my birthday and it was perfect. The staff are very accommodating and the food is next level. It's my favourite.

A nicely furnished modern bar & restaurant on the main street that also enjoys an aspect over the lawns towards the bay and the sea at the rear. It is well furnished with dark stained wood and vertical striped blue & white upholstery to the seats. It's nice & open to 3 aspects.

The staff were very polite and friendly. We had a pink flamingo cocktail and a schooner of 150 lashes pale ale, followed by a pot of breakfast tea and another schooner. We didn't eat on this occasion, just drinks, but it was very pleasant just to sit back and relax and watch the world go by for an hour or so.

Popped back a day later, had another couple of beers and cider plus a garlic bread and their lamb pizza with cheese, currants, olives and red onion. Very yummy 😋. Certainly didn't disappoint. Same friendly service.

A bit over priced but given the area probably not a surprise. The food was good and the staff were friendly and efficient. The Porcheta was cooked well but the skin was soft and chewy rather than crispy and crunchy, but nonetheless tasty. Beef cheeks was also well cooked and very tasty with a nice sauce.

I'll start with the bad because it's minimal and hardly even a negative.
After being seated on both occasions, I've found table service to be a little slow. Not bad enough to be a deterrent or actually make me dislike it. Just wait long enough where you start to get mildly impatient.
The rest is all good though.
The atmosphere is lovely.
The staff are all wonderfully polite and helpful.
The food is delightful and there are choices for any kind of customer.
I'll be making this place my regular stop when I move here :)

Loved this little cafe/restaurant. The food was great value for money. Had an amazing pizza here and my husband had some really great pancakes for breakfast one morning. We especially loved the staff. They were friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this place.

We had a great dinner here. Tried our luck without a booking and they only had bar high tables left.
Pizza was so good, it was so loaded with toppings and had a thin crispy base.
Dessert wasn't the best, it was pricey and I felt a lot of it was stuck to the pan it came in, but it tasted good at least. Service was good. High tables require ordering at the bar.
Cocktails were good.

Only went twice to the Deck for brunch but was pleasantly surprised both times. We have the buttermilk pancakes, avocado toast, special eggs Benedict with pulled pork and the chili scramble. The latter one maybe being the least amazing. But still worth a visit cause it’s probably one the best breakfast/ brunch option in Airlie with a decent menu.

Blown away by Taima ✨
My husband and I recently visited The Deck while holidaying in Airlie Beach. We popped in for a quick bite to eat on our first day… and then for every meal since 😂 we enjoyed breakfast here everyday, lunch often and dinner once. The food was sensational… especially the chilli scramble which other locals in town raves about too!

We were absolutely blown away by Taima’s service! With previously fine dining management myself, Taima’s service is better than a lot of the service you receive in a high end Melbourne restaurant. She remembered our coffee order, was personal yet professional, and passionate about the menu. She spoke about other service staff, the chefs and the owners with the highest level of respect. She is an absolute asset to this venue! Plus, she was always smiling, which made everyone else in her presence smile too.

Location is easy to find. There is a public car park right behind the restaurant. There is wheelchair access to the restaurant.The atmosphere is cosy and esthetically pleasing. The staff is friendly and very informative. Dishes are delicious and creative. There are no dedicated vegans dishes but there are vegetarian options. Would highly recommend the place!!!

What a beautiful restaurant! Modern Australian with plenty of seafood on the menu. They cater for many allergies and intolerances so fantastic menu for everyone. Kids meals are good size and the cocktail menu is impressive. This is a really nice dining experience.. even with 3 kids!
