Ichimi Sake Japanese Restaurant

Just about the most authentic Japanese cuisine in the area, and conveniently located on the Main Street of Warrandyte, and nestled among the leafy surroundings. Who knew?

Laid back atmosphere, simple and well thought out menu. Definitely needs more than one visit to properly sample the selection.

Super impressed by the taco platter on the new menu! The taco was presented beautifully, with different toppings. The black cod was soft and pliable, with just the right amount of chewiness.
As for the flavor, the wagyu had a rich taste that was perfectly balanced with the kimchi. The texture was also spot on, with a nice contrast between the tender meat and the cabbages.
The tuna toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the condiments were well balanced. I especially enjoyed the salmon one, which added a nice tasty sauce to the dish.
Overall, I had a great experience in this restaurant. The service is so quick n the staff always wear a smile face:)

We finally visited and I’m just sad we didn’t come sooner! The food was all delicious, staff were so friendly, and everything came out quickly even though it was a busy Sunday lunch time. I also think the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food, great drink selection too.

My partner and I love coming here! We always find it hard go past the Dragon Roll as it's one of our favourites. The tempura veggies and black cod are must haves as well.

Everything is always fresh, flavourful and presented beautifully and the sake is delicious. The staff are so kind and friendly. You can't go wrong at Ichimi Sake!

Best Japanese restaurant in eastern suburb ever! my boy loves the beef and rice, my parents like the tacos while i like the sashimi. opposite to warrandyte playground, great place.

We had a great experience at Ichimi! The setting was very ambient and had a great vibe to enjoy a night out. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and all delectable and tasty!!

The quality of the ingredients is very good, and the combination of tastes is both creative and retains the characteristics of Japanese food.

There is also very good service, the family is very enjoy , it is a very beautiful place to spend the weekend.

This place is a total gem! The decor is Morden and provides a great atmosphere. They food ingredients heaps fresh and rich quality and also they provide extensive beverage menu.I am a real Sashimi aficionado so this should be one of the best Sushi& Sashimi platter in this area! The staff are really friendly and go out of their way to help you if you ask. Highly recommend trying as hard as possible to come to this restaurant!

As a starter I had pork Gyoza paired lovingly with a vinegar and soy dip.
(I ordered, used the bathroom and by the time I was out the Gyoza were ready on my table).
Excellent service.

Then as a main I had the udon noodles with high quality vegetables & Wagu beef in small cuts perfect to melt in your mouth, and to top it off there were bonito flakes flickering in the steam of the warm meal to create an eye catching effect.

I grew up in warrendyte and I am I little apprehensive about the change that is happening in the town but each time I return I'm pleasantly surprised by places like this that step up the quality of the nightlife whilst also complimenting the beauty of the nature of the town.

All of dishes are Sushi Master Made. Always fresh and delicious. Worth a try and definitely Value for Money. dessert is the best.

The duck breast on the seasonal menu was awesome! Fresh meat, great sauce, nice presentation. Restaurant location and interior are fine and comfy. Friendly staff. Will come back.

Absolutely love the food there, the chef really know how to prepare the dish, must try Baked hokkaido scallop. We prefer sit outside daytime with bit of sun and nice surrounding.

A great place for Japanese food and lovely service. Have eaten here a bunch of times. They looked after us well and even make my kids their own preferred sushi rolls (off menu). Highly recommend.
