The best Thai food this side of Thailand, actually I’d say better than! You can’t go past this place, amazing authentic Thai food, absolutely packed with flavor, super generous portions and the friendliest staff you will ever meet.

Oh and it’s super affordable!

We absolutely love this restaurant and always have. Haven't been for a while (since before covid) but nothing has changed, it is still absolutely awesome. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. Overall absolutely wonderful!

Loved our experience at Maneeya Thai! Entrees and food came out fast and quality is amongst the best Thai food I had. Great place to go out for a quick meal or a nice formal dinner. Curries are amazing and food tastes fresh. Thai desserts are usually pretty average but extra points to Maneeya for having delicious and creative desserts. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return on our next trip to Hunter. Friendly staff as well, thanks for a great night.

Our table of four had a lovely dinner at Maneeya Thai last night. We were up from Sydney and so glad we found this gem. Great menu, quality food and excellent service. It's also quiet as it has wooden features and carpet. An amazing change in a world of restaurants with metal and tiles. A lovely place for a family meal or celebration.

Since we tried Maneeya Thai Restaurant last year, we have not changed our “dinner date”. We absolutely love our choices of Green Curry and Paneng Curry, with chicken and steamed rice. Cost was $40.00, but inflation hits restaurants too. So we accept that for the great service, food, and first name basis.
Thank you, Usana, Lek, Fong, and the chefs and cooks in the background, you are all worth at least five stars!

We had the banquet (min 4 people), mixed entrée and a mixture of mains. All of it was delicious and the five of us were all full and very happy. They do BYO so the ladies brought wine ($5 corkage). We will definitely come back here again. They also do takeaway.

Food is delicious, restaurant is a bit dated but clean & tidy. Staff very friendly

I have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. As always the food is faultless everytime. I've never NOT ordered the Mixed Entree - best entree out of all Thai Restaurants I have eaten at. All dishes on the menu are exceptional. If you like HOT!!! give the Jungle Curry a go. You won't be disappointed. The staff are always extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you Maneeya Thai. Just love this place. Great food and service

Well presented meals, good flavour, friendly and attentive staff.

Dinner there on short notice & not disappointed. It was pretty full but the staff happily found a table for 4 after a short wait. The food menu was quite comprehensive Thai based & everything was to our liking. The waitress Urana was lovely & although busy she was attentive to our needs. No problems

The restaurant has a quaint, old world feel to it which appeals to me. Being seated at the front, looking out across the street to similarly aged buildings complimented the ambience inside the restaurant. The waitress was friendly and chatted with our table creating a welcoming atmosphere. The menu has an impressive variety of dishes. I found the selection we made was prepared exquisitely, served promptly and tasted divine. I will recommend this Thai restaurant with no hesitation and will look forward to returning on my next visit to Maitland

We had an absolutely wonderful time here, delicious food, friendly staff, great service. The food here is excellent, tasty and authentic. Highly recommended. A great variety of Thai food and delicacies. Definitely with the visit, good idea to book on Friday and Saturday nights. Very popular!

Best Thai in the hunter. Amazing fresh food with beautiful smiling service. The chefs special and chicken and cashew are our favorite but every dish never fails because it all tastes so good. Price is cheap for what you get. Amazing!!!

So I was going to leave myself leftovers but that was impossible! My massaman curry was just insanely delicious, I couldn't leave a bite. Thank you so much for my scrumptious dinner and for the kind hospitality my partner received in picking up my order. Cannot WAIT to get this again 😊

Our favourite Thai in Maitland. Doesn't make you feel bad after you eat it like some other take away places. Always so fresh and tasty. Great customer service too 😃

The best Thai around. Operating since 1991 this family owned and run restaurant has never disappointed me. Whether dining in for a special occasion or simply grabbing some cheeky take away on a Tuesday night, the high level of customer service and consistently high quality food keeps me coming back time and time again.
Highly recommend the mixed entree, make sure you use the lettuce leaves to eat the larb (minced chicken).
