What a fantastic cafe! The outdoor setting is not only beautiful but spacious and comfortable. The food is very taste and the portions and good. 100% recommended!

Amazing spot for breakfast! Definitely recommend the eggs benny. And always have delicious baked goods that are a must try. It was incredibly busy at 8:30am so try and get in early!

I absolutely loved this place for lunch. Such a great atmosphere with outdoor seating outside. They have an amazing flowerbed made from an old truck with ibis birds nestled on top. I ordered the Posh Shrooms with an extra hashbrown on top, and it was so delicious. Beautifully presented. I enjoyed every bite of it. The chips were the kids favourite and they did taste amazing. They did run out of the proper bread for the katsu sando and gave us a bun instead, and the other dish was the Chinny Cheeseburger. Service was relatively quick too. Family friendly, dog friendly. I highly recommend this place for casual brunch. By the end of our visit we realised why there were ibis birds nestled nearby. They quickly invade tables as guests leave and go for any scraps. Service staff have to be super quick after people leave to clean up the tables. It was a little bit of excitement for the kids to see.

What a gem! Returning to the city after hiking/camping we needed to stop and caffeinate. We happened to stop at Cubby Bakehouse and what an oasis off the highway! We sat in a beautiful doggo-friendly alfresco area. With views of the river and parkland across the road.
The place seemed understandably quite popular. Yet despite the eager crowd, the staff were very friendly, relaxed and accommodating.
Perfect coffees and could not resist some fresh croissants. The Backhouse had so much heavenly looking deserts on offer, I intent to visit again and sample more 😋🤤

Great bakery and coffee near home with a beautiful river view.

Highly recommend! So good we had to go back again and again. Although busy, the service is prompt and doesn't take long for food or drinks to come out even on a busy Friday or Saturday. Food is excellent quality and tastes amazing. Coffee tastes great, aswell as the juices.

We got takeaway coffees once when driving by, and after our meals on the way out both other days. Service is as fast and taste remains great.

It was SO busy but there was no fuss, just great service, fabulous coffee and gorgeous cakes. Close to the highway, so very convenient when heading north. Great spot to stop.

Beautifully positioned cafe, opposite the Tweed River, lovely outdoor dining.
Service was excellent from order to delivery. The caramel carrot cup cake, was light and tasty. Coffee was good.
The idea of the old Dodge truck emptying out flowers in the grounds was unique.

Oh my goodness. Took my Nana out to lunch, had heard about this place and made the drive hoping it lived up to the hype. It well and truly exceeded all expectations. My nan and I had the BEST lunch together under a sun umbrella on a gorgeous picnic table. The food was AMAZING, I had the fruit salad bowl and she had "the best croissant she's ever had" the location is stunning and days later we are STILL talking about it.

We visited Cubby bakehouse for coffee and cake. The coffee was rich, smooth and delicious, and my wife loved the vanilla slice. We are expecting to return for breakfast during the next couple of days.

Amazing coffee and baked treats. The team is so so friendly and always has a smile even when they're getting pumped. You can tell everyone that works there really loves it. On top of the heat service, it is a beautiful spot on the river.

Recommended items to try: croissant with Jam and butter, cookies, vegetable samosa with mango chutney, chicken kara-age and their amazing coffee.

Best breakfast we've had in a long time. Hubby had eggs & bacon on sourdough with chilli sambal and haloumi cubes and I had an almond encrusted croissant - so good! Great coffee too and the service is friendly and quick. Love the casual vibe and being able to have our pup with us in the lovely garden setting. Top job guys - Thanks!

Just had breakfast, smashed avo with oats and sourdough bread. The spaghetti bolognaise sausage roll a chocolate eclaire and a Cappuccino..............it was amazing. I mean fresh cream in the eclaire, the portions are generous and you don't feel bloated afterwards. The service is amazing. You have to try this place.

Always delicious (especially the eclairs!). Coffee’s a bit slow but that’s to be expected with somewhere so popular

Actually ridiculous. Got the hot pork roll thinking what will these guys know about a banh mi (no offense) - but arguably the best bread Ive ever eaten a pork roll on. Glass like crust that was just wafer thin and delicious. Cookies and eclair were also up there with the best! Def's check em out

We went there for brunch and the food selection on the menu was just great. They serve food until 2 pm. We ordered the Avocado Sourdough with 2 poached eggs and the Bacon and Egg Banh Mi with Sweet potato fries. The meal was filling and very delicious 😍👌👌 loved it!!

Love Chubby! So easy to order at the table and food literally out in minutes. Not only quick service but the food is amazing too! Beautiful little garden, great for kids to run around. If you haven't been you definitely have to try this place out!
