Stanthorpe Big Thermometer

We were told by one of the volunteers onsite that the recent lightning strike had hit the thermometer and broken the mother board that reads the weather. It's an amazing piece of sculpture and technology. Great park, great scenery

Nice park with picnic tables and chairs. Information centre with wheelchair accessible toilets. Very helpful in the information centre.

Beautiful has a huge park that runs along side of the river.Peacefull heaps of 🦆 ducks worth while seeing.

Beautiful park in a lovely neighbourhood. Nice paths for a walk, tables for picnics and the info booth is open till 4pm if you're after maps.

What a beautiful, peaceful, calm and tranquil place to take some time for yourself and contemplate life.

What a great place to have lunch! Beautiful scenery, and only just off the highway. A well it worth detour. Only had 2 others with me for the photo, but I'm sure you can fit a lot more in than that. We'll see next time.

Looks amazing and really adds an attraction to the town

Wow what an amazing statue so cool your get you picture there. Looks like a Giant keyhole. Lots of parking around there for the kids to run around in and a creek come pond. So be careful of or little ones. Nice walking paths.

Great scenic walk and parklands

Autumn is a great time to visit with so many trees changing 1000 shades of yellow and reds.

This place rocked! My family had such a blast watching the temperature go up and down whilst enjoying a peaceful picnic next to the creek. 5 stars!

I drive here from Brisbane every time I need to check the temperature. Has never let me down.

First time in Stanthorpe what a place it was an eye opener for the wife and I we went to an apple farm for smoko had a coffee and the biggest piece of apple pie and icecream I was flat out eating it.they do a lot with apples.i was in awe.
