Used the underbonnet insulation on a VDJ78 Land Cruiser Troopy as I had changed the intercooler and once you start chopping up the OEM underbonnet material it looks awful. The Car Builders material is a great product but you have to fill in the holes in the bonnet first with aluminium panels. I used 1.6mm which had to be annealed as the shapes are not flat and have to curved to the bonnet line. Make sure you have chalk at hand to mark the new insulation and double check where your holes are needed before applying the soldering iron.

Perfect job. All done in 2 days as quoted. Thanks, it has turned a tin can into a very quiet car.

Where do I even begin with this. I've bought from car builders a few times now, and have had car builders stuff sourced through SCA too. Their products are nothing but A+ quality! That's where I'd usually leave this review at, but after today, it gets better! I ordered 2 rolls of stretch carpet, unfortunately it was delivered to the wrong address and the package is gone. I've been trying to contact the freight company buts its been worse than horrible, I hadn't gotten anywhere. I instead contacted Car Builders directly, and within 30 minutes I had Brad from sales reply. Not only had he managed to contact the freight company and get an investigation started into the package, he's helped me out by organising replacement rolls to be sent again. If that doesn't deserve a 5 star review then I don't know what will. Brad you're a true legend, thank you so much for helping me with this mess!

I am absolutely satisfied from their service. I walked into their office the other day to buy insulation to enforce the heat shield on my motorcycle. The guy who talked to me (sorry can't remember the name), was a pure professional!!!
What made me respect him the most, was the fact that, after he asked me what I need the insulation for, he directed me to the cheaper option instead of pushing me to buy the most expensive one (which it would be a waste anyway).

Very happy great service and great product. Arrived in 2 days from Vic to gc. All goods were of a very high quality so far only day 1 but have completed all the stage 1 sound deadening and have had an easy installation process so far. I highly recommend these guys very happy customer will do business again in the future for sure.
