Lavenders Cafe

Lavenders was recommended to us by my daughter. We loved the position overlooking the river and Thea the waitress was a lovely ambassador for the cafe - she was young but spoke politely and double-checked our order. Service was quick and thoughtful. Our “big breakfast” was perfectly cooked and enjoyed immensely. Drinks were great. We will definitely return!

Nestled by the tranquil embrace of the Hunter river, this charming café is a hidden gem boasting not only a stunning view but also a delightful atmosphere and food. We ordered cappuccino, chai latte, fish and chips, and pancakes, everything was delicious.

It was a wonderful mornings breakfast at the cafe while waiting for an elderly neighbor to go to the neighboring doctors practice. Very well priced , and helpful staff and meal was delicious (as pictured)

Love everything about this cafe! Coffee is great and the service is genuinely country friendly. We had a fabulous passionfruit slice, it was really nice! And you can sit out looking over the levee at Maitland.

As always the meals were great, it was very busy but only took 30min to get breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Apple & rhubarb warm moist homemade muffin. Just the best. With an ample slosh of magic cream and a homemade lush raspberry sauce 😋 a fantastic cafe latte. A total joy and a freckle.

This was an excellent place to eat. Highly skilled waitress buzzing through with food, taking orders, setting up tables etc. No one was left waiting. We had the eggs on toast and the breakfast rolls. Both were top shelf. Outside seating is comfy and protected from weathere as far as possible. Great coffee and milkshakes. Easy access if you have knee trouble or something. Will take pics next time. Highly rated!!

Big brekkie is awesome value for money. Great food, great service. A nice place to grab some breakfast.

Visited on Sunday morning, and they were busy! Up front told there was a 30 minute wait for food, no issues they were honest! I ordered the Big Brekky, bacon eggs (how you like them), sausages, hash browns, tomato, and mushrooms on sourdough. It was great! Service was excellent, friendly and efficient even with crowd.

Try this comfortable breakfast spot. Good food, fair prices. Sit outside and get a nice view of the Maitland river. Parking can be tricky, but it’s worth the effort.

Comfy, inviting, food was well received and the ambiance of the outdoor alfresco was well worth it.

Lovely cafe overlooking the river on the levee. Fast, friendly service, great food and best of all for us no "music" playing. Was quiet and we could hear ourselves talk. 5/5
