Ramada Resort by Wyndham Port Douglas

Everything about this place is fantastic. A+++++++ from me. Never have I stayed in a more comfortable place, the rooms were so clean and the tropical theme felt like you were staying inside a rain forest. Loved the swim up pool bar and happy hour was so cheap for a 4 star. 2 coronas for $12. Can't go wrong with that. Will definitely be back for sure. Staff did a fantastic job 👏 Thanks for a great birthday stay

Fantastic tropical resort with the most amazing Pool. Day spa was fantastic. We also took out the electric assisted bikes and rode into town which was great fun.
The rooms are spacious and well equipped very clean and set amongst the most beautiful tropical gardens. Absolutely love this resort.

Stayed at the Ramada for a week in Feb and it was a beautiful resort in such a good location. The staff were all so nice a shout-out to Za at reception and Ewen at the bar for being so nice to us. Definitely will recommend and will be back in the future.

I stayed here recently on a work trip in Port Douglas and really enjoyed it. Although it’s situated a little out of town there is a regular affordable shuttle service into town. It has a fantastic resort style pool with a pool bar and the food is on point! The rooms are very comfortable and exceptionally clean. I would recommend this property without a doubt.

The hotel was beautiful. The lush greenery with various palm and mango trees, banana plantations and other tropical plants was a delight to see.
The staff at reception (Noni & Joanna) were friendly and gave ideas on how to explore the place better. With a private access to the four mile beach, we enjoyed our sun rise and sun set walks at the beach.

Great place to base yourself out of. Out to the reef during the day then back to laze around the pool and swim up bar. Nice quiet rooms, good amenities

We had a lovely family holiday. Our two bedroom apartment was spacious and very clean. Great resort and customer service! The resort is surrounded by beautiful rainforest gardens, very relaxing by the pool. Will definitely be back.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Food is good and reasonably priced. Pool is a good place to have a few drinks

Unable to say enough about this place, about the people and management.
Teams of cleaners mopping up and cleaning in the rain.
Equipment failures dealt with promptly and up and running with minimal disruption.
Generator kept power going.
Even when water was cut off there were other options taken to be kept clean and sanitised.

Would love to go back was very impressed it was like we were being spoilt loved all the flora and fish in the ponds through the middle lit up at night with fire torches watching the bats fly over while floating on your back 😍 amenities were great the only reason for 4 stars for the room is it didn't have washer or dryer in room but was still available not far staff were very helpful and friendly

Had a great experience here. The staff was lovely. The cocktails were great and the massages were sensational.

Wish I could give Ramada Resort more than 5 stars. The resort is gorgeous with its rainforest gardens and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They gave us tips on the best places around to see and gave us discounts for some places for places nearby. Our rooms were very nice as well as clean. They have great food (highly recommend the barramundi) and having a dip in the pool with the swim up bar. We also enjoyed using the pool tables. We also treated ourselves to a Hawaiian massage and facial at the day spa on site and it was fabulous. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Sad we had to leave and will be recommending the resort to all our family and friends.

We found the Ramada to be very clean and comfortable. It doesn't pretend to be a 5 star resort but the staff are just as attentive!

Each morning's coffee started the day great and Lucy's smile and bubbly personality on the front desk was contagious.

The wonderful service continued with Omar and his maintenance team; they were onto a leaky tap literally within "seconds"!

This is the third time we've been here, and although a couple of kilometres out off town, and a car being handy, the shuttle bus is regularly available. We'll need back again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved the beautiful pool and spent a lot of time swimming. Very relaxing holiday thanks to the Resort we chose to stay at.

Had a wonderful time at the Ramada, what a gorgeous tropical oasis for such a great price. The staff were absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. My partner and I had a stay of a lifetime and can’t wait to come back to visit!!

This does not affect the star rating at all but just wanted to provide some feedback on the pool. It was amazing and my partner and I still swam in it every day despite this but the chlorine was very strong and harsh to my skin, hair and eyes. It has taken about 3 weeks for my hair to get some life back into it!! It’s such a beautiful pool and would love if it was changed to saltwater. Second is if the pillows could be a lot softer and fluffier it would be awesome. That’s all though no biggie.

Love this place, friendly staff. Great environment for couples, families, anyone. Relaxed atmosphere and very informative of surrounding attractions and activities to do.

Good middle of the road Hotel. Great pool and staff, friendly and helpful. Clean and good coffee at the poolside.
