I highly recommend Nicola! She’s an amazing surgeon and a caring physician. My knee replacement has gone perfectly. Amber the Practice Manager, has also been amazing and is efficient and thoughtful.

Dr ward changed my life. After avoiding knee surgery for years she replaced my knee very quickly after seeing her. Best thing I’ve done. She has lovely social skills but more importantly is a terrific surgeon. My recovery period has been well managed and progressing better than anticipated. Can’t recommend her highly enough.

I have the highest praise for Dr Ward. She steered me through a somewhat complicated femur operation.
At all times being available to discuss and allay any concerns.
Her kind and competent manner is exemplary.

Over thirty years ago I damaged my knee badly and I have lived with chronic pain since . I met two Orthopaedic surgeons prior to meeting Dr Nicola Ward and although both agreed I needed a knee replacement I was not comfortable to proceed with surgery. Dr Nicola Ward did a highly successful hip replacement with my husband the previous year and after meeting Dr Ward I finally felt confident enough to proceed with my surgery. I cannot recommend Dr Ward high enough! Dr Ward is a highly competent surgeon, extremely compassionate and genuinely supports you…not just pre surgery, during surgery and post surgery. I am extremely delighted with the result. Thanks does not seem enough! I would highly recommend Dr Nicola Ward. Special thanks to Amber also, Amber managed the bookings, paperwork etc. Amber was great! Extremely efficient and competent in her role. If you need a hip or knee replacement do not do what I did and live with constant pain trust in Nicola you will lot be disappointed.

Having been let down by two male Orthopedic Surgeons over a 6 month search for relief from my worsening knees I had become very frustrated.
Coming from a nursing back ground I knew Orthopedics was a boys club BUT I did not realise it was so bad.
After hours of online research the name Dr Nicola Ward appeared on my screen. At last a female that does Knees. After a referral, and appointment I was on my way.
I had my knees totally replaced 63 days apart and my life has changed.
The knee initially replaced a little over 18 weeks ago is now better than the one I was born with and the second rapidly matching the first.
The surgery went just as Dr Ward had described and I can state how happy I was with her surgical skills.
All ward staff that cared for me all have the same opinion of this great Doctor as I do.
Not only is this lovely lady a fantastic surgeon she is also a fantastic human being and in medicine that is rare.
It would be remiss of me to not mention the wonderful Amber whom is Dr Ward's practice manger. Nothing has ever been an issue to this pocket rocket. Amber is super efficient and a great ambassador for Dr Ward.
Two surgeries that can be a little daunting became a great experience.

When I first found out that I required surgery, I wanted to ensure that I was receiving the highest level of care that would result in the highest level of possible recovery: I was extremely fortunate to be put in touch with Dr Nicola Ward.

Dr Ward is systematic, personable, and my new archetype for a leading edge and contemporary surgeon. I will forever seek her out in any orthopaedic surgery needs and send all of of those around me in her direction to receive the same level of care and recovery.

What a breath of fresh air. Dr Ward is incredibly skilled, empathic and focussed on building a plan for her patients. She is not afraid to preference not having surgery as the best option having considered the clinical factors for each patient and their likely outcomes.

I am very satisfied with the surgical skills of D. Nicola Ward. I have had a hip replacement followed by a knee replacement five month later.
Both surgeries have been excellent with full post-op use of both joints.
