Fish Kitchen

We had the fish tacos and the southern fried snapper. Both were excellent - great texture, not greasy at all, fresh bright flavours in both dishes. Friendly service. Nice ambience. We would have no hesitation eating here again.

Fresh seafood, beautifully presented. Old faves like fish and chips, or healthier options like fresh salads. I had a locally caught piece of tailor, grilled, with salad and some prawn cutlets. Everything fresh and great quality. A bit pricey, but a real treat.

We visit this fish and chippery often and are never disappointed. It is a little expensive but you get great quality food and there is an indoor restaurant style area which puts this more into the restaurant price range. Lots of good options and usually a seasonal menu which gives good variety. Parking is very limited so be prepared to park in the side street. Plenty of seating with an alfresco area as well. They take phone orders and reservations which is recommended as they can be very busy at times.

I just found this place and I am glad I did. Decent size place with affordable menu, staff were great and the food was fantastic, beautiful flavours. Look forward next time. Highly recommend!.

Absolutely loved this place. It has a weird view as it’s situated in front of a cemetery, though, I loved the staff and the options that I had for the kinds of fish, salads and sauces.

Lovely place. The fish was really good and served piping hot, particularly loved the salad. The staff was also very friendly. Easy parking was also available so bonus.

Went here for lunch and got the Southern Fried Snapper. Fish was very good and tasted fresh. Service was friendly and prompt. Would recommend

Probably some of the best seafood I have had. Good relaxed lunchtime venue. Eat inside a bit noisy outside.

Great food, ambience and friendly service

These guys have changed to selling fresh seafood and they know their stuff. I used to have to drive to morningside for fresh seafood, but now there is a place that shucks the freshest pacific oysters right in front of you! Delicious! Thank you!

Really great food - great place - you can sit by the big windows eating fresh grilled fish and watch the world go by - perfect!

Update: Still brilliant. In the last year they've transitioned from an excellent fish & chip restaurant to an excellent fish & chip shop and seafood market. Pleasant outside tables with heaters in Winter for dining in and you can still buy wine.

The fish is just as crazy fresh and superbly cooked as ever. The in-house hot smoked salmon is a religious experience if you're lucky enough to find it available in the seafood market.

Special note for hardcore fish lovers who appreciate great mullet - like all of their fish, they only sell it when it's super fresh and at $4.50 a piece, its unbelievable value.

Great selections of fresh seafood! Price may seem a bit expensive but the serving size is generous and the taste is amazing. Once they even added an extra crumbed prawn for me! Also they often have fish on specials, $5 for fish & chips which is a bargain! The place is also cozy to sit down. Love it!

I was working my client was in the PA hospital and wanted fish and chips so i went up to Fish kitchen the fish and chips were so awesome my client loved them. After work I was so impressed and the freshness I actually went back myself to get dinner for myself. The seafood sticks yummy

Very delicious, top quality food. The grilled fish burger was so amazing! Prices are a bit more expensive compared to other fish and chip shops however it is definitely worth it for the best and freshest fish and chips. Excellent customer service too. Cannot fault Fish Kitchen - 5/5 stars!

We always love fish kitchen. The food never fails to impress with it's freshness and flavour. The staff are always kind and keen to help us feel as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend the coffee smoked salmon. It's phenomenal!

Ordered the fish burger and a home-made potato scallop.
Fresh, crispy, balanced, huge serving, and decently priced. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming (even though we rocked up half an hour before close, sorry).

Am planning on coming back to indulge in more menu items. Thanks for a great feed!

Great salad, decent size and quality ingredients. Well dressed, and excellent value. You get three choices for $12. Good to have a vegetarian option that is actually filling! My partner enjoyed his “hook, line and sinker” and gave it 4.5 stars, next time planning on salad instead of chips, even though they were good chips. One thing that would be great, is a little bottle of vinegar on each table, and a little bottle of chilli sauce. :)
