Beautifully located at the top of a hill, it dominates Nundah like no other church. The construction was initiated by Bishop Duhig who was responsible for many Catholic churches at a time when it was not the most prominent religion in the area.

Like a number of buildings in Nundah, it is now a heritage-listed building and is very attractive both inside and out. Two of my children were married here. One of them, being a music teacher herself, asked another music teacher to be the organist and a soloist for the Mass and the wedding ceremony.

The church is within a comfortable walk to the Nundah Village, and on a Sunday you can see quite a few people make their way to the church on foot. However, for those who drive, there’s parking facilities inside and outside the church grounds.

Magnificent, large church with ample seating for the vibrant community, in particular the Samoan Catholic youth. Beautiful sacred art, especially the mural depicting worshippers from all over the world. Handy amenities. Great for weddings.

I went into this church a few years back lit candles and asked for change in my life. I now see this church from my back deck every day, i got change and am very happy. Thankyou
