Slinky espresso has great coffee and the owner is very friendly. Very cheap prices for brunch food. Try to go closer towards closing time especially on the weekend, as the wait gets pretty long during peak time.

This is our favourite go to breakfast/coffee me and my partner we've always enjoy our food and it's super yummy and the coffee is always on point. Friendly staff and good vibes

The owner is a very nice guy. Food is good and most importantly cheaper than the average cafe. Also stocks a range of daily newspapers. Love having this place as my local.

Great little find for a local Sunday brekky. Four of us each had a coffee & yummy, generous sized breakfast meal for just under $80.

Food is always great, definitely worth the wait on the days the owner is running it alone.

Art on the walls, big tea pots, lots of regular folk popping in. These are things I like.

Great staff, went out of their way to check an ingredient for me and modify my order. Much appreciated! Cool street art on the wall, would love some more plants out front to make the dining area more pretty and private!

Amazing service and food. We came to the Cafe as it was highly rated and I can see why, small but simple and you get what you pay for! The eggs Benny was delicious with a citrus twist to the sauce and the bacon was devine. Frappe was refreshing

Great place! Good food & coffee BUT please, bring the coffee out before the food, not the other way around. If you made that a company policy you'd probably make more money too cos some people would end up ordering a second coffee.

We had a delightful surprise on Sunday when we just strolled in
We were offered the most gorgeous strawberry rose for Valentine's day.
Didn,t intend to have breakfast but the menu was too irresistible.
We had a scrumptious serve of french toast (Brioche) with blueberies, maple syrup...Yum!
and yes, staff super friendly... will definitely be back. it is a gem of a place.

,,we ordered full breakfast and 2 x eggs /bacon with toast + cinnamon bread wait was 45min and worth it great flavour plates left empty

I had the best brunchie! Their food and drinks were so good and fresh, the staff were friendly. Unfortunately I tried this cafe the very last day I was in Queensland, but I will definitely come back if I am in Brisbane!

This cafe is freaking amazing, food was phenomenal, and in great portions, service was exactly how you want it to be, not too much and not too little. 10000% recommend!!!!

Slinky is a great location for breakfast. The staff are super friendly and know most regulars by name. The girls are great with kids and dogs are welcome. The coffee is great - the best I've seen anyone do with Genovese.

Their coffee is amazing. I have been going here for about a year now and they never disappoint. The iced coffee is definitely one the best I can find.
